Feels very solid now it’s constructed,assembly instructions aren’t the best but eventually made sense! Feels rock solid. It misses having a brake to keep it in place when opening the sliding hatches as they ideally need to be at the top and also doesn’t look the easiest to get the compost out as the opening aren’t that big. Overall I’d recommend but with the caveat it could be difficult to get the compost out. Mines coming along nicely especially now I’ve added about 2000 red worms to help it along! Lots of rich looking material now 👍

It was a little tricky to assemble with about 56 screws and bolts (I’m no DIY expert to be fair, use a screwdriver and think about the order you are putting the panels in, made it harder on myself putting them in in a random order - oops) but once assembled it looks the part and turns nicely. Time will tell if it keeps the rodents away (the reason why I bought this!) My husband did say it looked like I was building the Death Star but looks a bit more like a wingless tie fighter (it’s not massively big), so I’d tuck it away somewhere less obvious.

Took about half an hour to assemble which was simple enough. I filled up both sides straight away and it is really sturdy and very easy to turn. Seems like good quality, doubt vermin can get into it with it being off the ground. So far cant fault it. Thinking of buying a second one.

Superb. Good capacity and easy to rotate even when full. Sun heats contents up well.

My husband built this, thinking it would be easy. I’m not sure what was difficult but he said it was really difficult to put together, though once done it’s brilliant. Really helps with the composting as spinning it helps speed up the process. It’s a great size too. I would definitely buy another, but I’d build it!!!!

Neat and relatively easy to assemble. I bought it thinking the composting would add a little warmth to my greenhouse but it didnt. Also adding straw to general compost means the straw gets wrapped around the paddles inside and doesn’t compost. Otherwise decent compost, but awkward to remove from the drum.

I wanted to start composting but had no intention of manually mixing it so I got a tumbling compost bin. I am very glad I did. I compared two similar compost piles, one in a standard composter and one in this tumbler. The tumbler did speed things up significantly.The tumbler does take a while to assemble but it is very straighforward.It's hard to know how long this tumbler will last, but I am not convinced it is all that sturdy. I keep each chamber half full, which seems to be as much as this tumbler can handle.Speaking of handle, it would be easier to spin this thing with a handle. Tumbling can be quite a workout!

Just put mine together, no problem, good quality heavy duty material. Lots of nuts and bolts but worth it in the end.
