Good heft, and it feels fine in your hand when you're using it as a prop. Unfortunately the action on the first one I received broke within a week. The action on the replacement broke a month after I received it. If you need something that looks good, buy it. If you need something that works, look elsewhere.

I am a Civil War re-enacter from the Heart of Dixie ,and am a member of a Confederate re-enacter unit which participates in numerous battle re-enactments which are a site to behold ,and are large events !
