This tester really is small ( I'd call it a pocket tester ) and that's the beauty of it - Easy to carry with you or good as a little backup tester as there's no batteries required with it - It's nothing fancy, just a large LED display and no audible tone, but it does the job - The probe shrouds ( Grey on mine ) are easily removable for socket outlet testing ( I will mention though that I trimmed the RED & BLACK probe insulation back a couple of mm and formed a bevel before the probe tips and, for me, this greatly improved it's userbility for socket testing - For the money you really can't go wrong with this little tester.

Short leads but the item is so small it fits in your pocket like a set of keys. If you want really small testers to give a clear indication of voltage these could be right up your street. A few sparks loved how small they were . Ideal for occasional use or part of a survey kit

Small and compact, can easily have in a pocket or small pouch. And the addition of no batteries required means less maintenance, the low price also makes it very affordable to replace should it became damaged or faulty. However I doubt the latter as klein is know for quality tools.

Perfect for what I need it for. Fits in the big screwdriver slot on my work trousers so never without it. Lights are bright even in daytime very easy to see. Very light weighs virtually nothing. This has replacement my NCVT and also the temptation to use the NCVT to test dead when I’m in a rush
