Laurel Spring 3-Piece Quilt Set – King - 100% Cotton Lightweight Bedding in Parchment

This beautiful comforter set is reversible and well made of Waverly fabric! It gave my bedroom a make over! Colors are soft .

I love this set! I was looking for a light quilt set that would be oversized (it is) and have the right blend of colors for my room (it does). It's truly reversible and made really well. It really brightens up the room and covers the bed well. So happy with this purchase! Highly recommend! Can't go wrong with Waverly!

I love the way it looks, its fabulous to touch, super smooth and soft, dense stitching that should keep it together through many many washes. The width of the king size is almost perfect- 2 more inches would be ideal becasue I'm lazy, but if I center it right it covers the dual pillow top mattress and top inch of the box spring so it just covers the top of the bed rails almost exactly. If I didn't have a wooden bed (i.e. if my box spring was exposed) a bed skirt would be 100% mandatory. I started buying quilts becasue I have dogs that I allow to sleep on my king sized bed. SO I wash covers once a week and need something manageable in size and durable. This fits the bill great! Fluffy comforters take forever to dry and they get lumpy with multiple washings, King size duvet covers are a nightmare to take off and put back on. This is perfect- I could wash three of these at a time in my washing machine. BUT its polyester... Most bedding is polyester (cotton and other natural fibers are big money) so most people must be okay with it. Unfortunately not me. I knew this going in- but I thought I'd try it again- the textile industry must have advanced in the last 20 years since the last time I tried poly, right?... Nope. Even though my sheets are 100% Egyptian cotton, I woke up the first night damp with sweat- gross! I'm one of those people who's always cold. Its 50 degrees at night right now, and I open a window before I go to bed. I can't blame the textile becasue I have 2x 80 lb dogs pinning me down on both sides, and their normal body temperature is 102.5, but with good cotton bedding I never wake up in a moist bed (ewwww!). My boyfriend puts off heat like a furnace, he would be even worse than the dogs! Next time he comes by this will not be on the bed.

Needing a lightweight summer topper for my bed, I looked at probably hundreds of possibilities on many different websites. The pretty pattern was primarily what attracted me to this set. I first saw it on another website but Amazon had it for a much better price, PLUS free shipping. I was hesitant to order it, thinking that a "quilt" might be a bit too hot for the summer months, but this quilt is just perfect. It's lightweight, just the right thing for the air conditioned room on a warm summer night. It's been on my bed for about 2 months now and not once have we found it to be too heavy or hot. The pattern is very pretty; the quilt washes and dries easily. I do wish that it was about 12" wider so there was more of a "hang" on each side of the bed but overall, this quilt is a winner

I am very pleased with this purchase. I have a full size bed with 12" mattress and adjustable bed which sits up 14" from floor and queen size bedspread is almost to floor. Hooray no dust ruffle needed. This is a lightweight bedspread which is fine for me but I would recommend a blanket for cool weather. I would have given 5 stars but shams are badly put together. Standard size pillows do not fit and cannot zip sham closed. Also flange around pillow is about 4" instead of 2". I think the seamstress was on the pipe when she/he made them. Since I would have to return entire set and possibly end up with another defective set of shams (or worse) I will have to find shams elsewhere in a coordinating color. Update: the shams are fine. I put my bed pillows in to shams lengthwise as I do with other shams but I reversed the pillows and stuffed them into the shams and zipped them up and they look great. My mea culpa to Waverly.

The item was quite pretty, however the background color had more green than the blue (as viewed online). The main issue was the quilt had sections with missing stitching so that was a major disappointment. It's far too expensive to accept it as a damaged item. Hopefully the return process will go smoothly.

I like the two-sided choice of stripes or florals. I share this with my husband so he doesn’t have to feel that our bedroom is overly feminine as I use the stripes and just the pillows are the floral side. I like the size and the weight as it is substantial but not heavy. I did find some threads left on the quilting that had to be secured and trimmed. At the price, I hadn’t expected that aspect.

This is a beautiful bed spread. It's a cotton blend, the colors are as shown. It's well sewn and quilted. And it looks really good paired with the valance. I have an elegant bedroom now!

This kingsize quilt is a perfect weight for the summer and I love the colours! The scalloped edge and finish are great! This quilt is well made!

Disappointed when I received. The background colour is green, not sky blue as it appears in the picture. And overall the colours are quite washed out looking.
