I am a new parent to gymnastics, and had no idea what I was purchasing when my child asked for these. The first that I bought was cheaper and I didn’t know what I was buying. Her coach said these are the only ones she suggests, and I can understand why the quality is much thicker and design and functionality appear to be top level equipment. I was told to use a pair of scissors too slowly scrape away the holes until they fit my daughters fingers. I don’t think you need to buy the file suggested. These allow you to fit them to the athlete.

I have bought several pairs of these grips for my daughter. She says these are very comfortable and easy to use. The fingers are small and the leather is stiff when they first arrive but that is normal since they need to be broken in before using. She has complained about the buckles digging into her wrists and them sliding off the bars after a long period of time. Overall these are very nice and supportive.

Not great at all. Got these for my petite 13 year old. When we got them, the finger holes were too small (couldn't even get my two year old nephew's fingers in them). Found out that this is a common problem, and took her coach's advice and tried to put her fingers in a little bit further each day to stretch them out. Within one day, the space between the finger holes was starting to rip.... Defective. Had to send back... My daughter has very small hands and fingers too.... Not worth the money. I found a pair for $17.99 that were much better.

It's comfortable and good quality I would recommend it but the 1 thing is that they shed kind of little like it just gets all over And it does make a little mess Recommended and it's good It doesn't hurt you or anything

These leather grips were an excellent investment for my daughter. After she broke them in, she said they fit like a glove and they brought her so much comfort. Highly recommend!

The finger holes of these grips were way too small. We tried to use a wooden spoon to stretch the holes to fit my gymnast's fingers (she is a small 11 year old). One of the pair ripped during the "hole stretching" process. The second of the pair had to be cut off her hands. This is not our first pair of grips and we have never had this problem before. Other than the finger hole issue, the grips seemed well made.

My daughter was using another brand of grips and she was unhappy with the leather. We switched to Gibson and she absolutely loves them. They feel much better to her than her old grips and they get delivered super fast, most times the very next day. Great product that we will continue to order.

Great grips and worth the wait. Took a little while to arrive, but the quality is excellent , sturdy leather, secure buckle, and fit just as expected. Perfect for early competitors and my daughter felt confident swinging on bars right away.
