Awesome beans for one person meals.
I've always loved Bush's beans but could never find the 8.3 oz size cans in most grocery stores, at least the vegetarian version. The big cans didn't work well for me because I'd have them for a meal but then not finish them up soon enough. This is the perfect size for a meal with rice or as a side dish. I love the flavor and texture. I tend to like food on the sweet side so the sweetness of these beans fits my taste buds. If you don't like sweet type beans these may not be for you. They have that old style "Boston Baked beans" taste I remember my mom making when I was a child. Loved them then, love them now.

These beens are nearly identical to my home made beens. What a great value too. They are so yummy.

Very good product, nice flavor but please add a little more bacon, i mean one small piece about a 1/2" in size is pretty stingy for a 16oz can, an additional 1/2 teaspoon of onions would be more flavorful.

Didn't notice ounce size.. Thought it was the 16oz size I get in stores, not this 8oz.
I got a case of Bush's Vegetarian baked beans, but I failed to read the oz of the cans which is only 8 oz which is 1/2 the size of the smaller cans I get in the store. I was really disappointed, because you can't get many meals per can. It's a note to self to pay attention to ounces from now on!

Perfect serving size
For me this is the perfect size serving. It will provide a couple of servings if you combine it with additional foods but for me if I don't want to add anything else I can make like the old hobo riding the rails and crack open a can and eat my beans.😁
