Nice light but is very small. Came packaged well and was easy to install. The glass is frosted and not white- it says opal so was unsure what that was meaning. It is a lot smaller than I was expecting, not exactly the look for my kitchen we were wanting so we probably won’t purchase this for the matching fixture when we remodel, but needed a light quickly as the other was original to house and didn’t work. If you’re buying for a smaller space or a hallway it is a nice looking light.

This light fixture is a lower end price, but it matches the quality of any light you would buy in A big box store of the same style. The glass is not 100% white, it has a slight transparency to it so keep that in mind. It is a smaller light fixture so it works better to use it in a smaller room (I used it in a small bathroom)

Bought this light to use in a powder room. It was easy to install and looks with our black headboard and cream colored walls. The globe has more of a frosted glass look than the milk glass that a lot of other school house lights have so it has that traditional look with a little bit of an update.

Thought by the pictures that the shade was solid white but it is frosted. We had trouble finding a shade that would work due to an odd size. Otherwise the black base was fine. We used it in a closet.

I like the style and design of this light perfect for what I needed.The frosted glass globe has chipped off in less than a month,I don't even turn the light on that much.buyer beware

Great lamp. Had it installed by electrician. Used lower wattage led, and really looks nice. Used in closet and one in the laundry room. Very nice.

Really love this light. Now just need to find one exactly like it but BIGGER for center of the room
