My go to food with bowel issues. Tasty and nutritious

I have major stomach problems and desperately needed to find a shake I could use as a balanced meal at need, which had a long shelf life and would be ready to drink the second I needed it. One problem with all such products is the taste. They usually taste awful, as I have had grim cause to know. This one does not. If you dislike full cream milk, you might find the texture somewhat rich, the Berries flavour I have is also quite sweet, but these are both plus points for me. I find the shakes delicious, filling, gentle on the stomach and I have peace of mind knowing that I'm taking in a good dollop of nutrients every time I drink one.

Have lost a lot of weight after treatment for cancer of the oesophagus and trying to eat is very difficult. Most of the other supplement drinks I have tried have been too sweet for my taste. I am mixing the ready to drink meal with full fat milk and spreading a bottle over the day in 4 'milk shakes', occasionally with some ice cream added, as well as attempting to eat what food I can manage. I'll try to work up to having the product 'full strength' when I can. It isn’t cheap but needs must. I have the berry flavour and find it very pleasant and importantly (for me) not overly sweet. UPDATE: now managing to drink full strength but still splitting into 3 separate glasses over the day. Still not overly sweet when it is full strength.

I got a pack of the Berry Flavour which made me very sick and it turned out the shake was off. The company could not have been kinder to me and refunded my money and sent me a new box of Berry Flavour free which tasted excellent. I would not hesitate in ordering this again on subscription to make it that bit cheaper as it is very expensive.

Love this flavor, it's like a strawberry milkshake. Yfood is great aswell, I get this fortnightly and they have enough sweetness to be enjoyable but then there also drinkable. You don't get that ugh feeling from drinking too much. I could comfortably drink a whole bottle in two drinking moments.

Excellent quality and taste. Required for gradual weight gain after illness.

The good, I like the product, used it a great deal but, didn't purchase from here. The Bad. Costs more here than on the high street in the UK. I've removed all products from my basket until the prices here are better than stepping out of my door.

Appena arrivato e appena provato. Sono rimasto sbalordito dal gusto! Assolutamente ottimo, nulla a che vedere con altri provati in precedenza che lasciavano un gusto tragico in bocca ed erano una pena da mandar giù. Sembra veramente un milk shake di latte e lamponi!!!! Spero che mi mantenga altrettanto sazio (come quelli imbevibili) se così fosse meriterebbe dieci stelle! Proverò anche gli altri gusti. …complimenti davvero, è già una pena mettersi a dieta, almeno in questo caso è un piacere anche per il palato.

Très bon produits et livraison rapide

Hallo, ich schreibe selten Rezensionen, aber bei Produkten die ich langfristig auf dem Markt sehen möchte, um sie vorallem selbst zu konsumieren, tuhe ich das gern. Lieferung: -wie immer super, mit Prime (ein Tag später da) -Packstation abgeholt Verpackung: -gut verpackt -sind in Plastikflaschen (aber gute Qualität, kein Geruch, vollkommen i.o.) Produkt: -500ml Flaschen (12 Stück gleich bestellt) -Fresh Berry als Geschmacksrichtung (schmeckt sehr lecker) Eindruck: Ich bin zurzeit sehr auf dem Sprung (Studium, nebenbei Arbeit) und da schätzt man jede Minute die man länger im Bett bleiben kann. Dabei kommt das Frühstück leider immer zu kurz. Das Getränk liefert zum einen die nötige Energie, um bis zum Mittag durchzukommen und zum anderen hemmt es das Hungergefühl. (für ca. 3-5h) Man fühlt sich teilweise echt satt und man merkt, dass der Körper für einen kurzen Moment wirklich Energie zieht, um die Nährstoffe aufzunehmen/verdauen. (wie nach dem Verzehr eines Stücks Fleisch) Da sind wirklich sehr viele Nährstoffe drin die 25%-50% des täglichen Bedarfs decken. (also kein Soft Drink.. eher wie Essen aus dem Mixer) Geschmack: Der Geschmack ist sehr gut. Ganz leicht dickflüssig. Man schmeckt nur die Geschmacksrichtung. Wenn ungekühlt, auch ganz leicht mehlig (aber geschmacksneutrales mehlig).. Keine Klümpchen wie bei manchen Proteindrinks o.ä. wirklich sehr gute Qualität. Fazit: Sehr gutes Produkt, sehr hilfreich in bestimmten Lebenssituationen. Lieber wäre mir natürlich ein ausgewogenes Frühstück, aber zum überbrücken bis zum richtigen Essen optimal. Preis Leistung stimmt auch. Ist zwar vlt nicht billiger als ein selbstgemachtes Frühstück, aber hat seine Vorzüge.

Buenas calidad, buen sabor

Schmeckt, sättigt und ist praktisch, aber nicht perfekt Um Kalorien zu sparen, war ich auf der Suche nach einem Mahlzeitenersatz, der gleichzeitig mit Vitaminen und Mineralstoffen versorgt und im Idealfall gesünder ist als Currywurst mit Pommes. Bei YFood bin ich fündig geworden. Ganz überzeugt bin ich allerdings nicht: Enthalten sind Sucralose, Acesulfam K und Gellan. Alles offiziell unbedenklich, aber dennoch fragwürdig. Warum solche Zusätze fast überall verwendet werden, bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Es gäbe durchaus hochwertigere Alternativen, auch wenn sie teurer wären. Abgesehen davon wirken die Inhaltsstoffe insgesamt solide, also habe ich es ausprobiert. Getestet habe ich bisher die Sorte Berry. Eisgekühlt und gut geschüttelt schmeckt sie angenehm mild mit einer leichten Beerennote, weder bitter noch künstlich. Die Konsistenz ist dickflüssig, ähnlich wie und die Portion macht tatsächlich satt. Praktisch ist das Ganze auch unterwegs: Nichts klebt, nichts schmilzt, nichts bleibt zwischen den Zähnen hängen. Fazit: Ein leckerer, alltagstauglicher Mahlzeitenersatz, der schmeckt und satt macht, aber wegen der Süßstoffe und Zusatzstoffe kein Dauerfavorit. Wenn es eine Version mit natürlicherer Rezeptur gäbe, würde ich sofort wechseln.
