These sewing clips are the best things I have used for hemming, holding multiple fabrics in place, folding over seaming, and gathering. Made of durable metal, helps make accurate seams and sewing a breeze. They function better than any other clips or pins I have used. They hold tight enough and do not slip off. I wish I had these years ago.

The hold material well. Better for me than pins. Very readable.

Sometimes when sewing you just have to be dead accurate with your lines. When a sewing line is in a "line of sight" place I reach for this type of clip. They hold tight and for that reason maybe they are a little bit hard to open and put on versus the close pin style of clip, but once there, they ensure your measurement with just one glance before it is sewed tightly! In the case of these clips, I'd read all the reviews as there may be some very good hints to help you make using them more effortless. The One and ONLY drawback I see to these clips is that they are not rubber coated on the top and bottom and I cringe every time I forget to remove the clip before it hits my sewing machine furniture or the machine casing. I have alleviated this somewhat by adding a strip of denim under the clipped side to shield the machine and furniture. A quality sewing machine these days costs well over $10,000 the cabinet to go with it $2,000 -3,000. Why damage it by using clips that scratch the finishes! These would be the perfect clips if they were coated.

Lo uso mucho para bajos de faldas y pantalones tanto como dobladillos de manteles y demas. Esta en pulgadas pero me hice marcas con rotulador que se limpian despues y asi lo marco para cada proyecto a medida perfecta. Super util.

These are a bit painful to use. They leave marks on white fabric. Would rather use pins, thought they would be more helpful but sadly arnt.
