Mouth Guard - Sports Mouth Guard for Football Mouth Guards, Breathable Low Profile Custom Fit for Basketball, Lacrosse, Hockey & More

The black model is a great mouthguard. I had a previous one for years and wore it for BJJ rolling and striking sparring. I decided to replace it after having some dental work done. The new one was just as easy to prepare and fit. These best thing about these guards is the slim profile, so you can talk pretty clearly compared to other guards I've used. The one caution I have - my first Shock Doctor was the black model and it was great. For this latest replacement I decided to try the clear model. I was unable to get that one soft enough to mold in my mouth. I tried heating it multiple times and ended up making the water much hotter than the instructions specified. I never got that one to fit properly and ended up ordering another black one, which worked just as expected.

2nd time we purchased. Nice and thin. Mouth closed well. Son does not bite through. Player can breathe. The gold is bling-bing. The WHOLE thing is not metallic painted, only the front facing portion. Easy to mold in hot water-now comes with a temperature strip so you don’t over boil the guard into molten lava.

My dentist said I needed a guard as I grind my teeth at nigt. Dentist offered one for $600.00. I chose this. Easy to ready & to fit in mouth and adjust to teeth. I like mine. Use it every night.

Great mouth guard from Shock Doctor. I use this for roller derby. I absolutely love the design of it. It was hard finding a cute design for my mouth guard that was different than what the other ladies have. The fit it nice and I truly feel that my teeth are protected. I will say it is important to follow the instructions to a T. Molding this mouth guard was different than others. You do NOT need to get the water boiling hot as you do with other mouth guards. In fact, you’ll mess up your design if you do. I used too hot of water the first time molding this one and it definitely went super flimsy and messed up the front design. Luckily, I realized my mistake and looked up a “how to video” from shock doctor. I remolded it and it worked fine. I’ll most likely buy another shock doctor mouth guard down the line but feel I still have a lot of life left in this mouth guard. The fit is very snug, it stays in place easily during derby practice. I can talk with the mouth guard in and have no trouble breathing. It’s low profile and I have no issues. It’s a good value for your money.

I will say my son loves these mouth guards. This was my 3rd time ordering. Buyer beware - this order I received 2 separate mouth guards already molded and worn. Amazon should be better than this! I also have to go out of my way to return in order to get my refund.

Fits like a glove. It’s small but functional. Easy to mold. It’s still not the easiest to talk with when in use. That’s not a requirement for a mouth guard, but it is called the trash talker. My only real complaint is actually a plus. It fits so well (and comfortably) that when I want to remove it, it’s quite difficult because it’s so snug. (Note: case in attached photographs not included)

I am a bjj player so this is what I use in everyday practice, pretty comfortable I would say. Not too bulky.

Serves its purpose for the price. A few issues with trying to get it to mold but you can attempt multiple times. Over time it has gotten looser but that was to be expected.

Excellent mouth guard. Used during BJJ. Previous one wouldn't stay in place and cut inside mouth. No such issues with this one. Comfortable and easy to wear.

Fitting process took 4 tries to get right. Temperature strip didn't work, didn't report any temperatures over 130 so hard to tell if water was correct temperature. Once fitted, it works great though, easy to talk.
