We are relocating to Florida from NY and needed a travel cage for our very picky 25yo Sun Conure. His regular cage is too big for the purpose so I ordered this one. It arrived safely and after some careful removal from the packaging, I was able to get it set up quite quickly. The construction and structural strength is just fine for the long trip, but especially it was accepted fully by my fussy Sun Conure! That in itself makes it a worthwhile purchase and I will use it when I have him outside on my deck. Yes, I had to tighten up a few of the connectors as others have stated but that was trivial. Very pleased with this cage as well as my pet’s acceptance!

I wasn't sure what to expect, and was afraid of getting something very cheap and flimsy (because the price was low). I was pleasantly surprised to find that, while it's not built to be a top-quality home cage, this is a very functional travel cage. It was very easy to set up - although the dishes actually are WAY too tight within their rings, and I will have to replace them. My green cheek conure seemed to enjoy it as well. He walked in rather cautiously, looked around, and then sat on the perch with a look of "OK, now what? What are we doing?". So I look forward to using this cage when taking him on trips longer than to a store. I had noticed some people had asked about keeping their birds in this cage. NO. DO NOT use this cage in your home as the main cage. It is too small. It is built for travel, and that's all you should use it for, to avoid the bird feeling too cramped. Good quality construction, easy to set up, easy to use, and the price was right. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect, exactly what I needed. Came exactly when stated as I needed it quickly.

This cage is "average". I like the size, and while it is easy to assemble and disassemble, it's functionality is the issue. After having it for a while I've noticed the collapsible sides are not staying in place as they once did and I've had trouble with opening the sliding latch to the door since the day I opened it from it's packaging. For the price you pay it's decent but I'm worried about the longevity of it. As far as the sturdiness, I can't complain, and we take it with us when traveling. Cleaning this is a breeze and it's nice that the items store inside of the cage. The cage is white so the visibility is moderate. It goes nicely with almost any theme you have in your house. My bird has plenty of room to move around and be the silly little bird he is so if you have smaller birds like a conure or parakeet then this is a decent cage. The value of this cage is fair for the price. Like I said, it's overall average, but I would recommend it if you're on a budget. We all know bird cages can be outrageous!

I bought 2 travel cages for my birds, expecting I might need to mess with assembly a bit. They unfolded quickly with no problem, the bottom tray fit and the rest snapped into place easily. These would be great cages for the money if only the plates fit the brackets that secure the food cups to cage wires. Unfortunately, the plates are too long to fit inside the brackets. All of them! You can see in the photo they are all at an angle. At the very least it should have been caught before the cages were packaged as someone pre-assembled the brackets and bolts that hold them in place. Now to decide whether to send them back or find someone to grind down the plates to fit the brackets.

I'm glad i got it. Arrived earlier than expected. Was nervous it would not be here on time for when we pick up our new bird! Especially since there was no tracking info. I have another cage almost identical that I got on Chewy.com but they were sold out. The dishes were stuffed under in the tray so the bottom is a little warped but not bad. The washers for the dishes feel a little cheap, but since it's on the outside your bird won't be able to chew. Perfect for long distance travel for small birds (lovebird/parrotlet/cockatiel/conures/senegals/IRN, etc) so they have enough room for food, water, and toys. It is quiet large and would probably be suitable for even some larger birds, however since i already had 1 before i know from experience that if your bird is an escape artist THEY WILL LEARN HOW TO GET OUT! My parrotlet even knows how i open it and tries to (but it's too heavy to lift up) so if your bird is stronger and bigger they'll know how to open latch. I still have more space for additional perches/toys that I will be adding.

Well made, perfect size for my ecclectus parrots, could carry 2 no problem. Heavier than expected as definitely not flimsy. Highly recommended.
