This desk had a million parts but it seems very sturdy! The directions I received were very clear and easy to follow. All parts were labeled appropriately. Just a little time consuming to put together. I did it by myself. Seams very sturdy and looks great in my room! I used it in the middle of the room as all sides were finished.

The desk looks nice and seems to be sturdy. I gave it 1 star for Ease of Assembly because it was a nightmare for my husband to put together. The instructions were vague, the parts were not labelled well at all. My husband puts together things for me all time and he was ready to pack up the whole thing and send it back (except that would have required another nightmare to repack it!). Luckily, he figured it out and after several hours he got it together. Really, they can do better with their instructions.

I am SO pleased with this desk! My floors have lots of different grays in it and this desk has more of an overall dove gray color, so on the lighter side. I put it together by myself and got it all done on a Saturday afternoon. The instructions were simple/easy to follow and all parts were included/nothing missing. I was wondering how sturdy it would be and am pleasantly surprised that it definitely is! Drawers work/slide with no issues. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality and my purchase!

I read the reviews before making this purchase and thought people were exaggerating about how difficult it was to put this desk together; however, they were NOT.....the instructions were HORRIBLE! If you make this purchase either pay to have it assembled or make sure you have someone who is well versed in putting furniture together! I emailed the company and asked for better instructions or a refund and they didn't respond.....I finally was able to find someone to put it together for me, and I love the desk but it was very frustrating experience!

First of all, nothing made from compressed woodchips should ever cost more than $100. The only reason I'm not sending it back is because its to much of a hassle to box it back up and ship it. It looks nice but I've had laminated partical board furniture before and it's not going to last w two kids on it everyday doing homework.

This is a rather well made desk. They use a variety of ways to fasten the pieces together ( glue, screws, fitted joints ) which makes it very stable and should help it last for years. There was some damage in shipping and the seller was very helpful in getting the replacement part we needed. We'll probably end up getting the matching filing cabinet soon.

I really do like this desk. It did take some time to put together, not too complicated just tedious--there are a lot of parts. I'm very pleased with this for the price I paid. As far as the sturdiness, I will update if there are any issues after I have had more time to use it, thus far--a few weeks into using, it seems pretty good.

Desk is just what I expected when ordering. Only slight negative was the pictures weren't easy to interpret for attaching the drawer rails and I initially put them on backward, but rest easy to follow.
