Great wheelchair!
This wheelchair is FANTASTIC! It's not a WC for an individual to use on their own but so great for a care giver to use for their patient. It's lightweight (easy on the back) making it easy to fold up and put in the trunk. Footrests are easily attached and detached (lock in place). The toe 'ledge' at he back allows gentle tipping of the chair to easily get over bumps. The safety belts make my friend feel more secure. Hand brakes work extremely well. Does not budge when in locked position. That has no storage bag/compartment is the only thing I'd change about it. From a different company I ordered an attachable bag for the back of the chair for storage. PERFECT transport Wheelchair!

Easy to assembly, Lightweight, Easy to Fold, Highly Recommended
I bought this chair for my dad, he is with Alzheimer and has loose a lot of mobility and it has made such a difference. Itโs lightweight, easy to fold, and very comfortable for him to sit in. We use it both at home and when weโre out, now we can take a walk while he enjoy it, we can go out and eat with him, and itโs been sturdy and reliable. It gives him more independence, and itโs easy for us to transport. It came pre assembled and took less than 5 min to have the chair ready to use. We are very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, portable chair.

This is the best bang for your buck!
This wheelchair is great quality, easy to use, lightweight, comfortable (although I highly recommend a gel seat pad) it folds pretty small so it stores easy. This has reopened my adventure/travel side. I'm able to do all the things that I used to do before illness/body issues took that away. This lightweight wheelchair reopened those opportunities for me. If only it came in pink..

great chair but all dimentions not listed
Great wheelchair in general! Love the bigger tires . Love the hand brakes especially! i will say the dimentions should be more specific because the seat says 19" across but doesn't mention its actually 16" across INSIDE the arm rests area so if you have wider hips it may be difficult to get into which is my clients issue and the arm rests are tall at 10" so you wont fit underneath many restruant tables to fit comfortably and will have to lean forward. Other than those couple things its a great choice for the price, folds up really easily and is very light. We put a cup holder on the armrest but had to put it up high to still be able to fold the chair up for transport.

I waited too long for this purchase.
Due to various health issues, my wife has a very difficult time walking; it's somewhat uncomfortable for her and she moves very slowly while holding my hand for stability. For several years we've used a full-sized wheelchair when we knew we would be in a situation requiring her to be mobile over a long distance or time. The large wheelchair is difficult to accommodate due to size and weight. I finally did the research and bought the Transport Wheelchair. WOW! So much better for our day-to-day life. This chair is light weight; the back folds down to lower the upright profile and then the chair folds along the center of the seat/backrest. It now fits easily into the back of our SUV - even behind the upright 3rd-row seat. The weight is easy to handle even for me (I'm 75). The "parking brake" engages with the flick of your wrist and stabilizes the chair for my wife to get in to or out of the chair. The removeable footrests are easy to install and remove which makes the chair even lighter, smaller and easier to load into the car. I have no doubt that the chair would fit into a normal "trunk" space on a sedan type vehicle or perhaps even into the space behind the fronts seats (assuming there was no passenger in the backseat on that side). My wife loves the chair and also the fact that she knows it's easier for me to deal with. Don't wait as long as I did. It's more than worth the price.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
Bought this to use when taking my 93 year old mother on errands, including doctor visits. It is so much easier to put in my car than her walker, and is very light weight. I love it and so does she! This folds and stores easily. My mom loves the red and black (it matches her walker). It's kind of racy looking. The price cannot be beat. Remove the footrests (super easy) before folding it to place in car or store in a closet. When out and about, I keep the footrests in the same box in which they came, and put them on after my mom is in the chair. Be aware that there are only hand brakes that do not lock into place, and no brakes that lock on the wheels. You have to squeeze the hand brakes on the handle, which, again, is very easy, in order to keep the chair stabilized when someone is getting into and out of the chair.

Very lightweight!
This chair is very lightweight. The VA gave my husband a chair which i could barely push, let alone lift so it did us no good. The color is vibrant, it maneuvers extremely easily AND at 18lb, I can lift it myself. The only assembly was attaching the foot rests which are click in and go on very quickly. Brakes work well. Very compact and the height is perfect for him to be seated and for me to push. Excellent value for cost and very quick shipping. The foot tests do adjust to side to ease with getting in and out. The only thing missing is a way to carry an oxygen tank, but he has an inogen so we'll figure that out!

Excellent Lightweight Transport Wheelchair
This wheelchair is for transport, not for self-use. It was easy to assemble and is a solid and safe chair. Itโs lightweight, which makes it very easy to fold up and lift into the trunk of my car. Iโm only 5โ3โ, so this makes it so much easier to take my MIL to and fro. The only way to use the brakes is on the handles. The person pushing the chair can squeeze the brakes to slow or stop movement. To park it and allow the passenger to safely and securely sit back into the seat, the handle brakes must be pushed downward until they lock, thus locking the wheels in place. Once ready to move, simply lift the handle brakes until they snap back into place. There is a safety belt attached, for added security. Definitely recommend!

Peso ligero
Muy funcional para mis papรกs. La silla es muy ligera, la diferencia con una normal es bastante, tiene frenos y un par de agarraderas para cargar con las manos. Tambiรฉn trae una correa larga para colgar al hombro. Si hace una diferencia

Good quality and features.
Lightweight, foldable and sturdy. What more could you ask for in a transport chair? Purchased for my elderly mom who found it comfortable. Price was very competitive.

Great ease of use
Chair folds easily and is lightweight. Very easy to manoever. The foot rests are removable and do have to be removed to transport the chair or they fall off when loading. The seat would not be very comfortable as is just canvas so use it with a gel seat cushion.

Functional, but for limited use.
BLUF: Stick to very smooth surfaces and short distances - this is not a tough-built chair. I purchased this chair for my wife who had broken an ankle. We planned on using the chair for holiday travel to Oslo this December, as she could not walk in her cast. The first time we drove through the city was the day after Christmas. We had traveled just a few hundred feet down a sidewalk when the left front caster disintegrated. The weight load on the chair was nowhere near the listed 300# maximum. It being Oslo (socialist medicine - everyone who needs a wheelchair gets one) and Christmas week, there was no place to rent a replacement. The airline wouldn't ship a broken chair free and the additional luggage fee was $100, so the chair stayed in Norway. While I would normally request a replacement, I had nothing to return. Just got off the phone with Amazon - they agreed to refund the cost of purchase. For the manufacturer, only beefier/stronger caster material would help. As designed, the casters are the weakest part of the chair. While this wheelchair is listed as an "Expedition" model, it would be best suited to flat, level ground and short distances. The brake is operator-initiated and cannot be locked; do not leave occupants unassisted -- I was OK with this. Folded as advertised; held it closed with a strap I provided. The foot supports are not designed to fold and still remain attached to the chair; they are quite light, quickly and easily removable, and went in a carry-on for the flight. Very light weight chair, easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces.
