Yupik Organic Raw Unsweetened Cacao Powder, 2.2 lb, Kosher, Vegan

I love this Yupiik Organic Raw Cocoa Powder so much! I'm sitting here, upon this morning during our nationwide cold snap, cozying up to sip a delicious tasting cup of rich, creamy hot chocolate. I also know it's good for me, nutrition-wise, so it doesn't get any better than this. Delicious and nutritious. I'm impressed with the quality of this cacao. I've bought a few others around, and the Yupik is one of the best I've tried. In my opinion, it is a successful marriage of quality, value and taste. I very much appreciate the fact it's organic and raw cocoa. It is the expected creamy chocolate color in the cup, so no surprises there. The texture is light and fine, with no large clumps. The bag is huge, it is a very generous amount indeed. I haven't yet made any baked goods with this, so I can't vouch for it's baking ability. I'm looking forward to baking with it someday as it would be fun. I have made some delicious smoothies. It mixes very cleanly and completely into my smoothies without chalkiness or graininess. For all these reasons I'm happy to recommend this cocoa with five stars. Thank You!

Seems some controversy/mixed reviews on this one. Thank you so much for the few who not only researched but spoke with the seller directly to determine the % stated on package is fat content, not % of actual organic cacao! Hopefully manufacturer will clarify that on package in future. What a great value! I’ve been indulging all weekend since I had been out for awhile and going through organic cacao withdrawal! lol I love it, very happy with the creamy flavor and consistency. All cacao is bitter by itself, just add stevia and good to go. Have used both as hot cacao and cold smoothie. Both work and taste great. I understand when spoon stirring any cacao powder directly into hot liquid it has to be worked for a bit, all good. Enjoy! :)

If you make your own chocolate at home from scratch, this is the product to get. Because it’s unroasted and raw, it retains that deep, complex, slightly fruity flavor profile that roasted cocoa powders. It gives my homemade bars that great taste with no bitterness. Pure, unadulterated cacao powder with zero added sugars, fillers, or synthetic additives. Very fresh every time I bought a pack. Price is up there, used to be much cheaper. I usually wait for a sale and buy a few packs. Not worth it at $50+.

It's really enjoyable! This cacao was recommended to me and with closed eyes I recommend it to you. I originally bought it to use it for CACAO amazing properties. I drink it with 0 sugar or el on it and can say it's 💯 fresh aroma, it's high quality... It comes with its own natural consistency, meaning I don't feel it bulky, so there's nothing added to maintain it's freshness... and I have tried several cacao powder that used to feel that way to the touch, now I know those are a nono . Cacao has brought healthier habits, so why drink coffee when there's CACAO. 2.2 pounds it's enough and for me it's great quantity. I always keep in mind that the best cacao is sugar free like this one!

I purchased the 2.2 lb bag and must say it’s a nice sized bag although it definitely wasn’t full and should have been. It will last a while the way that I use it. The taste is mild and not overbearing and so is the smell for someone who really isn’t a chocolate/cocoa fan. I got it for health reasons and am able to mix this with my other ingredients and consume it without being grossed out since the flavor is not strong and therefore is easily masked. This brand will definitely be my go to so long as pricing and quality stays within reason.

Good flavor. I made a smoothie with almond butter, ice, almond milk, nutrition powder with orange flavor and a frozen banana. It was very good and creamy. Not too low calorie but healthy and nutritious.

Quality is good. I put this in my protein shaker, but it just clumps up so I always have to put my shake in the blender. I’ll go back to the organic one I had before because it mixed in well.

So much better than navitas cacao powder and less expensive per ounce. The cacao doesn’t even sink to the bottom in hot chocolate and it tastes so good!
