This gel is great to give body and reduce frizz. I use it on damp hair before I dry it, then style it. makes a difference.

I never used gel in my hair before. Very nice easy to use and for the price there is lots of it!

I love this gel, and it seems like they changed how they make it because it does not hold well anymore. I was not sent the item in the picture, seems misleading. Does not control frizz well

I use this for my daughter's dance competition hair. It works well at slicking everything down and keeping it in place for hours. It also makes her slick back bun very shiny and sleek. It keeps her braids from fraying. Keep in mind they recently changed the packaging. I was confused when I first received it and they did some research to find out it had changed. Highly recommend this to anyone needing a stronghold style that lasts.

Gel specifications said, ultra hold. Only lasted for a couple of hours, and the hair started to get loose and messy. It's not worth buying.

Great product

A dime sized-dab smoothed through clean, damp sectioned hair from tips to roots will keep curls in place. IF you use too much and hair dries crunchy, just scrunch-n-fluff to release the hold and keep moving. Just DO NOT use a comb to bust up the curls OR the crunch. IF you get flakes, the two most common reason is too much gel used and/or your conditioner didn't rinse out clean and doesn't work with the gel. You have to work this into your hair care routine and figure out HOW and HOW MUCH to use for your desired results. This has been around as a universal product for naturally curly hair for quite a while. It's also used for wet sets on MOST hair types, works very well on chemically relaxed hair roller sets under the hair dryer OR for blow-outs/flat ironed styles for FRIZZ-CONTROL. ALWAYS START WITH CLEAN DAMP HAIR regardless of your intended style result.

2 of the 4 jars arrived cracked on the bottom. The gel itself is very good though.

Gel is okay. I find the drug store gel in the yellow tube keeps hair down longer. I ended up returning this one as it was more liquid than actual gel. Save your money!
