I purchased this cream in my desperate attempt to alleviate what I knew to be Perioral Dermatitis around my mouth. After reading numerous blogs and articles where women had success by treating it with this anti-fungal, I had to try it. After using this Clotrimazol cream for two weeks solid, I feel that it did resolve a small portion of the problem—however, my Perioral Dermatitis was eventually uncovered to be caused by the Demodex mite! To all sufferers desperate and seeking answers to their sudden and life altering skin outbreak, please consider my story! I'm slowly clearing up now thanks to a mixture of Borax and H2O2 (HP), Ultra Colloidal Silver Gel and Mama Nature Proskin Eczema cream. The Demodex mite feeds on high concentrations of yeast (fungus). I believe in my horrible situation, a yeast infection had been spread to my face as I had scaly, rough film around my mouth, jaw and nose for days just before the outbreak of blisters and redness. A combination treatment is a must! 120 days of solid treatment for full relief! I'm about 25 days in. I hope this helps someone out there like me! Don't give up!

I bought this because I was a little desperate and noticed that everything I had tried so far wasn't working for me. While looking around the net for something that would help my situation I stumbled upon an article which mentions Clotrimazole as a cure for athletes foot or jock itch and I went ahead and looked for anything with this ingredient in it. To my surprise the only remedies I found were the big name brands which cost about 5 to 6 times what this product cost me on amazon.com with shipping included. I thought about spending the money and buy a name brand product but then I found this product on amazon and decided to order. I was a little skeptic at first because of the price but don't let the price fool you. This stuff really works. The first day I used it I notice significant improvement in my condition. Don't get me wrong this is not a miracle cure and it will not clear your symptoms overnight but it does work immediately. I have been using it for the last 3 days now and my symptoms have all disappeared. I have not stopped the treatment yet I will continue to use it until I run out to make sure it is fully cured and that my problem will not come back again. Just for good measure I ordered an extra tube of this topical cream to be ready if I ever need it again. It has an expiration date for 2015 so I am covered for the next 3 years. Other people have written reviews with similar results as mine. However depending on each individual case it make not work for some and it will for others. I will stick with my story and will recommend this product to anyone who suffers from athlete's foot or jock itch. A great economical alternative solution for fungus infections.

This claimed to be comparable with Lotrimin and even copied the Lotrimin colors in the packaging. The carton asks you to compare the active ingredient in Lotrimin with the active ingredient in Clotrimazole. The active ingredient in Lotrimin is Butenafine hydrochloride. The active ingredient in Clotrimazole is Clotrimazole. I tried to set up a chemistry lab to make the comparison but because I am an engineer rather than a chemist I lacked the proper training and equipment to make the comparison.I had been using Lotrimin which cost me $13.79 for the 1.1 oz tube. When I saw the Clotrimazole claim with the price tag of $0.01 for 1 oz I could not resist making the purchase. A shipping charge of $3.35 was added to my order for a total of$3.36 which was still much less than the Lotrimin.After having used both products I found that I could make a comparison without the necessity of a chemistry lab. Lotrimin relieves my jock itch completely with no side effects. Clotrimazole adds a significant burn to accompany the itch. The major portion of the burn lasts about 1 1/2 hours. After that length of time the burn and the itch are significantly reduced but not ever eliminated. The price is right but I prefer paying a higher cost for the products that leave me pain and itch free.
