I always wanted this book physically, it's very useful even if you are on an entry level. It has every useful command required for routing and switching infraestructure.

This book got good info in it
Great book but still using old equipment. I gave it a 5 stars because of the information in the book. Wish thy would have used updated switches and routers.

Good to have
Have looked over the book, not the type of book to be read through but at a glance always a good thing to have with you. Gives you example configurations with explainations to what is being done with additional notes tips and warning to what to & not to do.

Disappointment
It's 2020 yet the material inside is based on IOS. Cisco ended support in October 2009 for the 2950 and January 2014 for the 3560, yet they are used troughout the book. The author should rip out IOS and replace it with IOS-XE and use the 9200, 9200 and ISR4000 series equipment that will support IKEv2, onboard packet capture and Install vs. Bundle Mode As a Cisco network engineer I've lifecycle replaced 3560's, 3750's and now 3850's with 9300's. It time to release a portable command guide based on the current shipping operating system.
