Blue Earth Marble with Natural Earth Continents, Recycled Glass, 5 with a Pouch, 0.9 Inch Diameter

These marbles are absolutely beautiful! I had been eyeing them for months before I finally decided to just go for it and buy them. It includes 5 marbles, 5 little metal stands, and a soft little brown pouch. I like to carry one of them around to remind myself of how tiny the world really is and not to sweat the small stuff. They are very detailed and beautiful. Would definitely buy again for myself or as a gift.

These were a purchased as a gift, one for each of my kids, that I gave them along with a story of personal significance. I was happy with the quality and they were perfect for my purposes.

Ok, so I’ll start by saying I really like the detail and the fact that you get 5. After reading the reviews I ordered and sure enough all I got was the 5 Mini-Earth Marbles in a plastic bag. No pouch, no stands. No big deal to me. Yes, I agree they are a bit overpriced but still, I was happy with the purchase. They really are nicely done. I got some rubber o-rings for 30 cents at the local hard-ware store to use for stands and it works just fine. Treat yourself!

I have been a collector of marbles for many years, this adds to my collection. On Earth Day in April I will give a couple to my grandsons. The marble is beautiful, and the unusual theme is a find, and if a bit pricey, they are one of a kind.

I love these, and they are perfect for what I was hoping to use them for -- as a globe in 1:12 scale room box. Considering the size of the marble, the detail is good. The only thing I find not quite perfect is that the northern hemisphere seems squished east-to-west -- not as the picture shows, but it is only the third largest continent. I'm giving this 5 stars because perfection in that scale usually comes at a high cost, so at $3.20 each, these work beautifully for me. This is an unique item that I think warrants higher reviews. I do want to address some of the negative reviews, please understand these are just my opinions. It just seems to me that this product has been badly down-rated for reasons that neglect how beautiful these are for the price. SIZE: Unless you had a need for a perfectly 1" marble, is the difference enough for the ratings? The seller has explained why it's listed as 1" vs. .9" or 22mm in a comment to one review--people confuse .9 to mean 9" and aren't familiar enough with metric to understand 22mm. SURFACE APPLICATION: the description clearly states: "ceramic glass glaze continents that are fired onto the marble by hand..." fired onto instead of into. glaze is a surface application. DETAIL: see my reason for giving this 5-stars. Again, I don't mean to offend, but only to clarify.

I am using these as awards to young men who have completed courses for the church. They are small (the marbles) but the young men seem to value them as earned awards. The little metal stands shipped with them was a nice touch. Thanks.

Sure looks cute but its not at all what I expected really :( The continents are atop of the glaze (not protected, covered or enclosed in the glass marble)

Attractive miniature earth and all features well laid out inside a blue marble. Cute size and can conveniently be carried around inside the pocket.

Not 1” diameter. Only 0.9 inch. Continents are cheap looking just printed on, not in the glass. Don’t buy, look elsewhere for better quality marble.
