This is NOT a "portable" item that you should fold down and open up multiple times and expect it to last. The price of this item should tell you it's NOT a durable item. However, if you can open it up and leave it open, it's amazing. I love this item. It's the exact perfect height to use laying down in bed on my pillow before I go to sleep. It holds my tablet very securely and I can adjust it to the exact right tilt. I watch movies, play games, etc. I can't be without this item. I have purchased several. Each one has lasted about a year. The price is so reasonable, it more than pays for itself in that time. Do you really expect something so inexpensive to last forever? Even items more expensive than this are poor quality. I always have at least one on hand to open up when the current one finally falls apart. The first place it weakens is in the side clips that hold the height UP. The part that holds the device TILT has never failed. Only where you adjust the height. The first few I had I actually used duct tape to hold them up and that gave me several more weeks use. People, stop expecting the stuff we buy on Amazon to last forever!

I got this from a different manufacturer back in 2019 and I've used it daily. I've read comments that it appears to ne flimsy but I think that's just reflective of the fact that it's very lightweight. It has not been flimsy at all it has stood up through daily use for 4 &1/2 years. One little piece broke off and it still usable but with this price I decided to replace it with this unit that appears to be exactly the same. Since the price is better now I went ahead and got a second one so I can keep one by my bedside and one for Reading on the couch or doing video calls from my phone. This has single-handedly cured the tension in my neck from looking down at a phone or having to stack things to get my Kindle or tablet up high enough to look at. I couldn't recommend it more.

The legs do seem a little flimsy, but if you’re not too rough with it, it holds up pretty good. I’ve used mine in bed every morning when I wake up, and every night before I go to sleep. I just received my new one to replace an exact one I’ve had for roughly five years. Did have a leg finally break on me six months ago. Been still using it with a little duct tape repair. Think I got my money’s worth for five years use. It fits my 10.5 iPad Pro just fine.

Love this thing. It folds up pretty easily and I’ve taken it with me on trips several times so that I can do traction stretches every day in the floor. I don’t really like doing traction stretches, as they are time-consuming and boring, so I now get to do something better to pass the time like watch Netflix on my phone with this contraption.

One of the legs partially broke soon after using it. But the rest has held up well for 9 months now.

I developed a stiff neck. After much research, I feel that it was caused by laying flat in bed and propping my head forward with a pillow to read my Kindle and my iPad. This Afunta tablet mount holder allows me to sit up in bed (aided with a pillow for lumbar support) and read my Kindle or iPad directly in front of me. And if I want in the future, I could lay perfectly flat in bed and look up to my Kindle or iPad because this tablet mount holder can be adjusted to have my reading items face down. I purchased this Afunta tablet mount holder rather than an adjustable book reading tray so that I'd have the option of reading while laying flat in bed if I so desire. Note: My additional purchase of a remote Kindle page turner makes turning Kindle pages so easy.

I am disabled and in bed most of the time. This iPad holder works great for my purposes. With all the possible variations I can place my iPad over me in bed which allows me to use it very conveniently. I am enjoying full use again. It is easy to set up and tear down, and doesn't take up much space for storing while I am not using it. I can also set up my Apple keyboard on my lap and go to work. This works better than anything I have seen.
