This is a good product to have if you are moving and you're going to use a budget truck because budget walled's their hitches and receivers onto the truck and they come stock with a 2-in ball like me with my camper. It was 2 5/16 in a scramble. I found this and it worked very well. Best $30 I've ever spent. It is definitely worth to have whether you're moving hauling something, or you're just tired of switching your receivers on your own trailers. Definitely worth the money. It fits fine and does the job intended. But I would have to agree with others who said previous model had a small magnet to keep it on the 2” ball. Every time I remove the trailer coupler the clamshell falls off.

Awesome now I dont have to keep different hitches in the truck and I am able to tighten all the slack out of current hitch. No more slap and rattle.

This saved my move!! I rented a moving truck and realized that it has only the welded ball not a hitch receiver. My trailer is 2 ⁵/16in. And the truck had 2in. This fit right in and made my trailer work. It did fine for 350 miles. Easy to install doesn't rust. You won't see it, when installed. No adjustment it's super lightweight and great price.
