Zinc is an essential supplement for all members of my family. It is challenging to provide my youngest child with the amount of zinc he needs without the ability to swallow pills yet. This liquid supplement tastes fine mixed with juice and he has no problem taking it. The product enhances attention, focus and immune function for my child.

The bottle I received had a hole in the cap, as others have noted. I called Kirkman and they explained that this is to prevent it from exploding in transit due to pressure build-up. There *is* supposed to be both an outer shrink-wrap seal and a plastic/cardboard disc seal under the cap, both of which were present on the one I received.

Kirkman continues to put out high quality products. My kids have been taking it for years and I have seen a notable difference in their immune system and overall health. Shipping is fast and I have always gotten exactly what I ordered. The only thing that I would recommend is signing up for the mailing list with the company directly. i have gotten great discounts using them and ordering direct.

This is a good zinc supplement. It has a funky pseudo-sweet taste that could be better, that's the only reason I'm dinging a star. It's kind of yuck. But mixing it with juice, it's okay. I can still taste it - it has a chemical taste I'm not fond of - but I do have to say that it works - does the trick. Having celiac I have trouble absorbing zinc. I also take Raw Zinc from Garden of Life which I like, as the capsules are easily absorbable. But on days I don't feel like taking capsules, I use this and am happy with it. I do feel that my body benefits from it and that it's effective. I like that it's alpha ketoglutarate, rather than the usual zinc sulfate, I think that's a better form that my body prefers.

Smells good. My son needs this for his diet.

I purchased this for my autistic child. So far so good! He’s sleeping thru the night. He’s speaking way too much for a kid who was non-verbal for the first 5 1/2 years of his life. This product is not a miracle worker....it is part of many products that I have been using for years on this autistic journey with son.
