This seat cushion allowed my severely bruised coccyx to heal completely after about 9 months of daily (all day) use. And when I say severe bruise, I was hospitalized with the bruise (not for the bruise, but I had the condition when admitted), and I was hospitalized for 42 days. Over that time hospital stay, the bruising worsened so much from laying in bed I was placed on a special air mattress for the last half of the stay. The pain was excruciating sitting, and it still hurt when laying down. When I was released, even doubling the standard cushions the hospital rehab specialists sent home with me were completely ineffective. I searched for this kind of cushion online out of desperation. Thankfully Amazon search promptly featured this model prominently on the first try. The cushion is very comfortable, the outer fabric still looks in fantastic shape, and the cushion itself is just as supportive as it was the first day I used it. In fact, even though the pain is gone, I'll probably continue to use this simply for the comfort it offers and to avoid rebruising going forward. I couldn't be more satisfied, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs comfortable support for sitting and/or coccyx healing. When a product works at least 10 times better than what a massive regional medical center's (7000+ total employees) rehab specialists could come up with, you know you've found a winner!

I got this because I started working from home. My home desk chair became uncomfortable to sit in for more than an hour or two, actually causing pain in my tailbone that would last for hours after I got up out of the chair. I was exploring buying a chair like I have in my office, but it is roughly $500. I figured I would try this cushion as a less expensive initial investment, particularly since I wasn't sure how much longer I would be able to work from home. This made a HUGE difference. I am sitting in it for 8-10 hours a day. I now have zero pain or discomfort and highly recommend it to make sitting for long stretches more comfortable. It seems well made and comes with 2 removable / washable covers. There are little bumps on the bottom of the cover that helps keep the cushion from sliding. It doesn't get hot. Honestly - it is perfect.

High quality cushion. I use it in my car. However, the images can be deceiving: small chair makes the cushion look larger. If you're using it for a chair, double check dimensions to get the size you need. I'm having a hard time finding a product of this quality in sizes larger than offered by this manufacturer. If you have a large chair, you'll find this cushion will move around on you.

I just received this cushion and I tried it out in my recliner because of my disability, I can't let the leg rest up myself, so I usually have to have my home health aid put the leg rest of for me on the days is here. At first I thought it was to hard, but after waiting a little while, it became comfortable, and I didn't slide down like I usually do. But the big question I had was using it for is because my skin tears very easily and make sores on the back of my leg because I am very short, and again due to my disability, I can't raise the leg lift, so when I'm home alone and the to sit in the recliner, my legs hurt really bad if I can't elevate them, and I am unable to sit myself all the way back, which cause my leg to hurt really bad, therefore I purchased the cushion to see if it would help relieve the nerve pain I have in my leg when I can't get myself pushed back far enough. I've only had it a couple of days, but it seems to help a little.

I have had several cushions designed to alleviate coccyx pain. With the exception of a Swiss-made inflatable one by Bort they have been useless. For years I have used the Bort one in the car and on plane trips and find that after a long time it can put undue pressure on the back of my thighs and cause my legs to go numb. Though that one has been a lifesaver, I was interested in something softer yet supportive and less slippery (important feature for use on office chairs). I was skeptical of this at first of this one which I have now been using for several weeks. It looks just like another I have which flattens completely and proveds no relief. This one seems to flatten as well (popping back to full height after I get up), but I guess it must be doing its job in the places that count because I have traveled several hundred miles sitting on it and had NO pain. I do not find it hard, though some other reviewers did. It is well worth the price. Based on previous reviews I bought 2 right off and am delighted I did! I will keep one in the car and use the other in a desk chair. No problems with seller or delivery.

My work chair is now 20+ years old. It is a very good chair. I often spend 12-18 hours a day in it. I was having back problems not because of the chair. The chair saved my back but the seat cushion is now very compressed. It is now a "my father's chair" but structure and upholstery are good=keep it. BUT.. I was getting a pressure sore. OUCH! Saw the CUSHIONCARE Seat cushion. It Looked RIGHT and the information on CONSTRUCTION and MATERIAL seemed RIGHT. Also the PRICE was right. NO MORE THREAT OF PRESSURE SORE! (No guarantee for others.) Posture is better. It is comfortable. NOTE: The material initially seems hard in hand and on the seat. Give it a chance to warm and adjust. Sitting is again comfortable.

NASA memory foam originally designed to cushion astronauts - entered the market and are available in many forms. If you love your memory foam mattress - you will love the same soft cushioning support of this set of back support and seat cushion. Have tried many other seat cushions (blue waffle gel, air pillows, latex air discs) and none of these were comfortable for long periods of time working at a desk. Tried different types of seatback devices for lumbar support - wire frames, air pillows, small bolster pillows - and none provided support that also cushioned. The combination of the memory foam cushion and lumbar support of memory foam are effective in that they are soft and comfortable for extended sitting.

I got this for my hunting stand chair which my husband says is uncomfortable. It hasn't made it out there, yet. However, I decided to try it in my work chair and it has done wonders! I had back surgery about three years ago and while it did work, it's that thing, "Once you've messed up your back..." This cushion takes the pressure off my coccyx and levels out my back to relieve my occasional hip pain. The cushion is soft but solid. I haven't used the back bolster cushion as of yet. If you do not move, the cushion does not move. I'm about to purchase another for my work chair so this one can go to the hunting stand. Would recommend.

At first the breathable cover was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sit on it for more than a few minutes I was thinking this was a bad purchase but I looked up how to soften the synthetic fabric, I did that and it was bearable and after a few days of sitting on it I started to feel a bit more comfortable on it. I bought this to replace an old cushion with a softer cover and had to swap between the two for a while until I got used to the new one. If you are prepared to give this a few days to break in then it is worth it but if you need instant comfort then a cushion with a softer cover will be a better choice.
