Let's jump right in. This is a bit small. That said I was expecting it. I read the reviews and read the description and knew it was going to be small. I don't know what others are so upset about. Now this isn't an issue for me. This is a child's bento box so the size for my children is perfect. It is adorable. It is partially leak proof. The top of the box/house shape isn't leak proof but the bottom with the brown lid is. Brown lid is flexible and feels rubbery. You just need to seal it good. If you are unsure about the size, pull out a measuring tape and get an idea of the size so you don't wind up disappointed.

Some of these reviews clearly don't realize or understand that this is for making and storing, very specifically, Japanese onigiri. The box and maker look absolutely tiny when you first open it. But let me tell you, three of those rice balls especially if you add some kind of core to them, like tuna, will fill you right up. Room in the bottom for some fruits or a little side. Don't underestimate it! If you are expecting a massive Tupperware you will be disappointed, because it just simply isn't that. It does what it does very well, hold 3 mini onigiri very well and with a cute design. I found that 1 of the microwave sushi rice bowl things that you find at most grocery stores perfectly creates 3 onigiri. The rice packs and slides out of the mould cleanly and effectively. Some lady on here was trying to use that thing as a separate container and was upset that it leaks and doesn't fit in the main container. It's a mould... it's not supposed to go into there, you leave that at home. I love this thing, and use it all the time. Making the onigiri is a breeze, it takes longer to cook the rice that make them. 👍

A bit baffled with all the reviews saying they can’t fit anything inside this. I made 3 decent sized origiri stuffed with crispy baby crabs and a spicy sunomono salad. 1 cup of uncooked sushi/short grain rice will make 5 origiri with the provided mold. I mix the rice with sesame oil, soy sauce and furikake seasoning. Rice balls don’t stick to the mold at all and come out beautifully. The bottom compartment is perfect for a little side salad or fruits. I really love this cute little lunchbox!

This Totoro onigiri lunchbox is soooo adorable! I love that it comes with its own onigiri mold. The mold seems smaller than you might usually make an onigiri, but I think it is perfect, because I don't like huge rice balls. I also found that if you do not want to put rice balls in the top section, that a small apple will fit in there. This is NOT a huge bento box...and isn't meant to be. So, if you bring big sandwiches or salads for lunch...keep looking. I think it would comfortably fit a sliced up wrap in the bottom section with some fruit in the top section...or maybe a few onigiri in the top section & some protein & a veg in the bottom section.

I bought this onigiri box for a ten year old. She loves Totoro. It came smaller than I thought, but she doesn’t eat that much, and she is only allowed a string backpack at school so she is glad it is small. She takes a couple of onigiri or half a sandwich and a cookie on the top shelf, and fresh fruit and veggies packed into the bottom. The design is adorable. It has lasted 4 months so far in excellent condition with daily use. We hand wash it easily.

I've had this for a while. Rice balls are easy to eat for lunch at work when I don't get a break and have to eat between customers. Three rice balls is a good snack box for the shift. Sometimes I put candy in the bottom, sometimes I put more rice. It's cute and while I don't use it all the time I enjoy having it. When I'm not actively using it, the shelf I have it on makes it a display that makes me smile.

It is smaller than you’d think but still fits enough for a lunch. I use it for work a few times a week.

This little box and rice ball mold has made making rice balls so much fun! I can't get enough rice balls to save my life, so when my husband surprised me with it, I fell in love immediately with it. When I open the lid after making my rice balls, the smell that comes out makes me feel like I am in an Asian restaurant. Bravo on the image on the cute box also! I truly enjoy using this so much. Never thought eating rice balls could be so fun! 😍😍 Thank you so much for making this. I love it so much and it keeps my rice balls fresh and warm. Perfect 💞🥰

Allt är bra med med en produkt men jag förstår inte varför ska jag betala extra pengar om jag beställer i amazon.SE Jag har pratat med säljare och de lovade prata med Fedex och Fedex(kanske) ska betala pengar tillbaka. Men det tar några veckor. Jag förstår inte varför ska jag vänta så lång tid.

Dieser Bento ist ziemlich klein was auf den Bildern erst mal nicht zu sehen ist trotzdem ist dieser Bento ziemlich süß.
