It’s my safe place
This is the second time I’ve bought this tent. First time I had it for 4+ years and it was amazing. Had to replace it because it got lost when I moved across the state. I am have diagnosed Autism, ADHD, and PTSD, so this tent means the world to me. When my anxiety was bad I always hid away in my little nest. I got the pitch black one with the mesh windows. It blocks out light very well, and it makes me feel safe when nothing else does. The first one I had was still in great condition after 4 years of use. It’s very easy to set up, don’t need any tools. A good open space and extra set of hands is all you need really. I bought the twin sized one and it fits like a glove. You put the mattress inside the tent. A few notes on assembly process. 1) it comes in a medium sized pouch, support poles included. 2) it does open very forcefully when you unzip the pouch, although it does have a warning label saying that, but still be careful when your opening it for the first time because getting smacked in the nose by this thing would hurt 3) it has three small zippers about an inch long in the top of the tent. This is for the support poles. Just insert and thread them all the way through. Only note here is that it’s a bit hard to get the pole all the way in to close the zipper but if you’ve got an extra set of hands it’s not too bad. Took me maybe 2-3 minutes to get all three poles completely threaded. 4) it’s a mild pain to get the mattress itself into the tent, but that’s because I was doing it myself. Once you get it lined up and adjusted just slide it in. It’s a little hard to hold the tent down and push the mattress in but with an extra set of hands it’s easier. Completely possible to do solo assembly, just much easier with help. However, the important note is the base. I highly recommend that if you don’t have a solid bed frame and you have one that’s kinda wired or has gaps, I suggest getting a box spring. The tent will not stand up correctly if it doesn’t have a solid foundation. So some features I’d like to high light. - it has two windows on the top and bottom with a mesh lining if you want to let air or light in. - it has two panels to get in and out both on opposite sides of the other. - one of my favorite qualities is the zipper. It’s very good, my first tent was going strong after 4 years of use and the zippers almost never snagged or jammed, and even when they snagged a little I would just zip it back up slightly then go down again and it’d fix up easy. PLUS, the zippers are double sides. Both windows and panels have double sided zippers so if you want to open a panel or a window you don’t have to exit the tent, you can open and close any zipper from the inside!!! While it is expensive I’d say ease of construction and quality are 10000% worth it!!! I love it with all my heart and I’ll always have this tent!!!

Awesome bed tent, just needs support on one side if you don’t have bed rails
This canopy bed tent is awesome. It’s perfect for my six year old son who has autism and loves cozy spaces (but see important note below 👋). I got the full-size version, and I’m really, really happy with it. Setup was actually pretty easy. There’s a small bag of tent-style rods with elastic running through them, so they come folded and then you just unfold them into straight rods. At first I thought mine were missing because they sort of fell out of the bag, but that was just me not realizing how they were packed. The curved “arch” pieces (like the top of a covered wagon) are already in place, and you just need to insert the straight rods through the sleeves. That part is a snug fit. You do have to push pretty firmly with your thumb to get them through, so just make sure the rods are fully connected and not catching on the fabric inside. It does work…you just need a lot of pressure. If you don’t have much hand strength, you might want help with that one step. What I really love is how well this works in our space. We live in a small home, and I gave my bedroom to one of my older teen sons, so my six-year-old and I have more of a makeshift sleeping area in the living room. This creates a really nice sense of separation and privacy. It also helps contain everything…blankets, stuffed animals, all of it. There’s a lot less spilling onto the floor, which makes a huge difference. The tent itself is breathable and has multiple zippered openings, so you can adjust for airflow and light however you want. I got the version with four doors, and the placement worked out really well for us, especially with an AC unit nearby. It actually softens the airflow so you’re not getting blasted directly. 👋 One thing to be aware of…if your bed is open on one side and doesn’t have a rail, a child might try to sit or lean between the edge of the mattress and the tent wall. That can put pressure on the tent since it’s not meant to support weight. In our case, the tent sits on top of a raised surface, so I’m planning to add a bed rail underneath the mattress (outside the tent) to give that side more support. The quality seems really good. The fabric and stitching look well done, and it feels like it will hold up. There are also more ties inside that you can use for tent lamps than I expected…I think some of them are for tying up the tent for transport, but their placement allows for this dual use. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A must for siblings that share a room and even more so if they have a bunk bed.
I have a four-year-old son and an seven-year-old daughter. It recently became evident that my son would not fit in his toddler bed much longer. Our children have already been sharing a room for quite a while in anticipation of another child. But there was no way we could fit two twin size beds in their room and still have enough area for them to play in. We settled on bunk beds but then came the new problem of accomodating separate bedtimes. Our daughter is allowed to stay up 30 extra minutes to read in bed quietly. We had previously purchased another brand of privacy tents (Privacy Pop), but we quickly discovered our current ones would not work with bunk beds, especially with having the ladder on the end; the other tents only opened on the sides and I wasn't really pleased with the quality of the Privacy Pop bed tents from the start. Our solution was two-fold. I made some bed curtains for the bottom bunk, and we began looking for a privacy tent that would work with a bunk bed. I came across this Leedor Bed Tent, and we couldn't be happier. First, it fits nicely within the bunk bed frame without being smooshed or warped, a problem we had with the Privacy Pop. It also holds its shape well instead of sagging in the middle. Again this was another problem we had with the Privacy Pop. This difference is because the support poles for the Leedor Bed Tent go all the way from the front to the back instead of across the sides. Additionally, I love that it had ties on the bottom so that you can affix it around the bed frame near the corners. Making it more secure and less likely to shift. This bed tent also had lots of versatility regarding the configuration of doors, which also accommodates ventilation preference. My daughter sleeps warmer, so she has one end entirely open. This is also due to the previously mentioned fact that the ladder on the bunk bed is located on the end. She unzipped the top of the other end to expose the mesh for more ventilation, along with having both doors on the side unzipped along the bottom. When we purchased the Bunk Twin Leedor Bed Tent, the only color option available was Black. This actually couldn't have worked out better. My daughter was thrilled because she is currently obsessed with Harry Potter, wizards and witches, and all things dark and mysterious. I’m pleased because it blocks out the light really well. She can read in her bed with a light before her bedtime without disrupting her brother’s bedtime. Similarly, our son, who is night training, can get up and use the bathroom during the night without disturbing his sister. Assembly was easy with one exception, inserting the support poles into the tent. I recommend two people for this task. It's a very, very snug fit, but that's expected. It's similar to setting up a camping tent, and that snug fit is what helps it to keep its shape so well. I highly recommend the Leedor Bed Tent, especially if you have siblings that share a room. Its a high quality bed tent that allows them to still have their own space and not disrupt each other during the night or early in the morning.

I love it!
I am happy with it but it sags a bit. I installed it correctly. Its just that if you dont have a bed frame for the tent feet to stand on it will slouch and sag on the top and sides due to the weight of the zipper doors when they are tied up and not zipped down. I am happy and upset. On the fence still on how I feel. I love it but Ill try to list the pros and cons of the first day: Pros: big! Amazing fabric quality, I was surprised. 2 nice doors on either side with mesh windows which is nice! Looks amazing in my room as well as anyones room Im sure. Cons: They sent the wrong color, Blue instead of black.. very disappointed about that! I almost died trying to install it haha I have a queen size bed and Im only one person so it was a BIG challenge for me to put my queen size mattress inside of it, but I thought of a easier way to do that. Simply stand your mattress up and slide the tent down it like putting on a shirt haha I am extremely exhausted after setting it up. Its a bit saggy on the feet due to no bed frame, and saggy on top due to the weight of the doors being tied up. Im going to give it a week or so then Ill update my review. Thus, giving better info and such. Just have someone help you set up the queen size and up haha Also, they sent me the wrong color! They sent me navy blue instead of black.. big negative. Update: Tis more than a week later. I all around love it! It leans to the side a bit coz the mattress isnt a perfect fit, Im assuming every mattress will not fit its appropriate size. I have a queen bed and got the queen tent but theres about a 6 inch difference, the tent being bigger. So that makes it not quite fit and causes it to lean. I have to rig some stuff to make it straight but thats the biggest flaw Id say. I still hate that its blue, not anywhere near any kind of charcoal Ive ever seen. Ill still give it 4 stars coz I feel the tent is a bit bigger so it wouldnt rip or anything while putting your mattress inside of it, so I kinda see a point in that one. I havent a bed frame either Idk if that would make a difference. My mother and nephew are both getting one after seeing mine. My best friend ( my dog) Zeppelin loves it! He says its big, shady, cool, and it keeps his tennis balls from falling to the floor. He also says the mesh windows are great, which I agree with! I watch movies with the doors up and windows open and its not that bad. Im a tall girl, Im 6'3 almost. So Im surprised that I can sit up in it and my head doesnt touch the roof. Theres enough room for my doggy, myself, and all my stuff that Im playing with at that time. Ive shoved a bunch of fluffy blankets, pillows in there so its like a big fluffy nest! Tis my paradise! Also colorful Christmas lights! Coz why not haha This is one of the best and coolest things Ive ever had! So the only cons I see after a bit are the color isnt what its supposed to be, it slouches. But so do I ^_^ Thats about it when it comes to flaws. I love it 95% and my bestie, Zeppelin says he loves it 100% He smelled it and licked it, thats his way of giving approval. So Its amazing! Tis more of a journey than a review hehe but this item is very fun!

Great purchase and easy install!
I bought this because my kid keeps sneaking into the masters room every night. I was the same exact way during his age. So I know already it’s not the dark he’s scared of. He’s scared of reflections from mirrors, windows, shadows, open doors etc. Psychologically, think of cavemen days. People felt safer sleeping in caves because it’s protected from the elements and predators can only come in from one way and you can always block it off. this tent provides the same concept, that’s why it’s popular with the kids. He also keeps asking me to build a fort in the living room with him using blankets. I’ve hated this because he once did this and left soda and snacks in the fort and ants got in and it was a pain washing multiple thick blankets. Thankfully, I found this in Amazon! First, my tiny mom self and tiny child were able to set this up ourselves. There was a bunk full-bed mattress that had to be taken out, then this thing pops up like a camping tent, rods inserted in, mattress needed to be lifted up the bunk again and inserted into the tent. If us tiny humans can do it anyone physically healthy can. Both ends of the tent have entrance zippers. They also have window zippers. This is perfect because when I’m in there I feel like I can’t breathe so I “crack a window” open. It does get hot in there (and he’s using it now during the coldest month of the year) so i can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer time. The good news is my kid likes to take his shirt off at night, so I do feel better that it’s hot in there so he doesn’t get a cold. In the summer, I plan on blowing a fan in there for him. So even with some windows unzipped for air, it’s still dark in there at night which is good for my kid because he discovered he likes it pitch black. My other favorite pro: it’s perfect for movies. No other room in the house is dark enough for my projector. So we have one end of the tent against a wall. When it’s movie time, we unzip that side and use the beige wall as a screen. My other favorite pro: I have a naughty cat that twice peed on that bunk bed. We have no idea why because he doesn’t do it anywhere else. Our theory is that my son had peed a little on his blanket, we didn’t notice, but the cat did and thought he could too. We have to close that room all day but sometimes my son forgets. With this tent, the mattress is protected from the cat. One tiny con: the entrance zipper is a bit hard to close or open from inside the tent. I worry that one day it’ll just break. It hasn’t yet so we’ll see. Overall, a great investment for the kiddo, and also mine and husbands sleeping sanity.

Awesome! Perfect! Love it!
I bought this for my son's bunk bed. He's on the top bunk. It fit with an inch or 2 to spare (from top of the tent to the ceiling). I believe I needed 47" from the bottom of the mattress to the top of the tent. Most importantly, I needed a tent that opened on the ends so he could climb in. The opening on the side doesn't work for his bed since he's on the top bunk. There are 2 panels on each side and each end. They all unzip completely so basically 75% of the tent can unzip for ventilation and light. On the ends there are screened net windows. The sides do not have screened net windows. The mattress fits INSIDE the tent, not on top. That was the worst part -- trying to get a twin bunk bed mattress into a tent and THEN getting the mattress & tent up at the same time on the top bunk. There are 3 tent poles to insert to make the top taut. They aren't absolutely necessary because it will stay up without them due to the circular frame on the ends. You have to shimmy those poles into and through the tunnels on the top of the tent. I accidentally put the insertion point of those tunnels against the wall end and not on the open end by the stairs so inserting those poles took a lot longer than it should because I had to bend the poles at a 90 degree angle at each segment because the wall wouldn't allow me to do the entire pole all at once --- if that makes sense. So pay attention to the side where these 3 poles insert so you don't get the mattress up there with the tent on it and realize that you'd have to pick it back up and turn it 180 degrees... like I did. My 3 and 5 year olds play in there comfortably. I'm 5'5" and I can sit Indian style without having to crouch down. There's a pocket inside that you can put a cellphone, books/magazines, flashlight, a bottled water, etc. We put my son's tiny stuffed animals so they didn't get lost. I got the dark gray and it's pretty dark inside. Not a lot of light gets in through the fabric. It seems of great quality, but I've only had it a month. I stuck glow-in-the dark stars on the interior top of the tent and they stick well to it. I shine an extremely bright flashlight on them for about 10 minutes before my son goes to bed and it looks so awesome laying down in the tent looking up at the bright stars. I'd definitely recommend this tent for someone wanting it for a top bunk bed. If you're wondering if it will fit on the bottom bunk you will need to measure from the bottom of the mattress to the bottom of the top bunk. The tent is 47" tall so if it's less than 47" it's going to be too big for the bed. Photo #2: end fully zipped up Photo #3: end fully zipped up, but with window screen exposed Photo #4: same as #3, but showing how you can see through the tunnel Photo #5: same as #4, but with flash Photo #6: end completely unzipped showing other end completely zipped Photo #7: side view with side opening completely opened Photo #8: side view with side opening completely closed Photo #9: interior view (w/ camera flash) of side panel with tent completely zipped up Photo #10: same as #9, but showing table lamp light shining through tent fabric Photo #11: interior view of closed opening with light on in room and door open (it's pretty dark!) A must for sensory kiddos!
I have a nine year old daughter on the autism spectrum. When she is overstimulated and needs to calm down, dark spaces help soothe her, so we ordered this tent for her bed to create a safe calm down space for her. I was able to put the tent together on my own, the directions are very easy to read and follow. The rent does exactly what we ordered it for. I like the zip up windows and doors that allow for easy access to the inside of the tent. We have had the tent for just about 6 months and it has held up well with no rips or tears. The things that are frustrating with the tent is that the mattress goes inside of the tent. This is frustrating for two reasons. One, it is almost impossible to change the sheets on the bed as there is only one zipper opening on half of the tent on the part that goes the length of the bed. The other thing about this tent is that my daughter often pushes her stuffed animals into the side of the tent while she sleeps. This has caused the tent to shift so it is hanging sideways off her bed. To fix it, we have to lift the mattress and re-enter the tent. Overall, the minor irritations are worth the safe space that this tent provides for my daughter. It also holds in heat quite well so she is often very warm in it, which is a plus for a little girl that kicks off her blankets every night!

Well Thought Out Design, Easy Assembly
I got the twin as a brooder for my growing ducklings. It came packaged well inside its carrying/storage case. It's very well made, stitching is nice and tight, and the ducklings are super happy. I like how the top and bottom are solid material and the rest is mesh for great circulation. I ended up putting a piece of OSB on top of a table (cut to the size of the tent), then pieced together some puzzle matting on top of that for padding and finally the tent. The tent literally took minutes to assemble; all that is needed is to insert the poles. I LOVE how the assembly instructions are sewn into the storage case! Nice move! It looks fantastic. Small enough to not take up an entire room and big enough to let the growing duckling stretch their little legs with a sprint. Am extremely pleased so far.

I love this thing
I'm autistic, so having an enclosed bed space is absolutely perfect. I put fairy lights inside of mine, as well as a night light for when I want to read, but it's also good for sensory recovery with a dark enclosure and calm quiet when I need it. Amazing quality and has held up well over time.

Even better than expected
Ordered for an anxious kid who wanted a "safe" space to sleep. She loves it. The twin size was perfect for an Australian single, and we have it on a top bunk. There is the option to unzip and have a mosquito screen at both ends, a loop inside for a lantern and a cool pocket for a book. My kid's sleep has improved dramatically since we got the canopy. The navy is a lovely colour, not as bright as the stock photo. All the zips work smoothly, the quality is great and it was easy to set up.
