Ezgo golf cart Powerwise 36 volt battery charger. This is a Schauer golf cart battery charger.

Works great! I had to modify the connection to my cart but it was easy with color-coded, red-positive and black-negative wires. My batteries were almost fully discharged on my old 36v EZ-Go cart. I checked and filled batteries with water. Cleaned terminal post and direct wired charger to positive and negative post. Took approx. 8 hrs. to fully charge and charging light turned off when cycle completed. Almost no noise (now humming like my old EZ-Go 30 amp charger). Fan motor noise is negligable. Lightweight when compared to my old charger. A lot cheaper than the $490 the EZ-Go dealer wanted for an "after-market" charger. The seller, G&E Golf Cars & Parts, shipped on Tuesday and package delivered Saturday. Shipping was included for $289.00. Very pleased at this point. Highly recommend!

Ezgo golf cart Powerwise 36 volt battery charger. This is a Schauer golf cart battery charger. I bought this to replace my "old" Power wise. Works very well, qualifier, I just installed a complete new set of batteries. I love how lite it is compared to the older Ezgo unit. Charges well, and goes into "maintain" voltage (note, fan will be running). Only "con" input power cord isn't as long as I would like.

My charger (EZ Go original unit) shorted out. I purchased this unit online and it worked like a champ. It charges faster than the OEM unit and it doesn't get as hot in the shed when charging. Good unit at a good price.

Great charger. Couple observations after 4 years. The wiring cover where it connects to the charger came loose so I had to add a couple zip ties. Charger will error out on occasion and flash a green light. Not sure if it has to do with the cart or charger. Unplug from power and cart and let it discharge fully will reset it. Charging plug has begun to short out and has to be wiggled to get it to charge. I just order a new one to see if it is an issue with the charger or the charger port on the golf cart.

I've had this for about six months now and it has worked perfectly for my old EZ-Go. I live in Charleston,SC. In Oct 2015 my area received 21" of rain in 3 days. The charger was under water the entire time. STILL plugged in. afterwards I rinsed it with clean water, then dried it using a dehumidifier. It still works perfectly to this day. From my experience, I would recommend this charger.

Had I known how wonderful this charger is, I wouldn't have waited for my other one to break. This unit is lightweight, small, and charges my golf cart much faster than my old one. When I took it out of the box, I thought, "yeah right, this is the wrong item or it's junk." I've waited a couple months to review this item, thinking it would stop working or some other thing must be wrong with it. I don't review often as it takes time, this unit is worth time out for an excellent review.
