Absolutely perfect - a good quality product that does the necessary and shows no sign of wear so far.

Cracking little device used it to connect my tablet to tv in a hotel room (via HDMI cable) and worked perfectly with no additional set up. Doesnt' charge the device however sadly (although it wouldn't inherently via HDMI i know) there is no way to connect a charger at the same time if you only have the one USB-C port for charging and output.

I bought this USB-C to HDMI adapter for my MacBook Pro (Touch Bar model) and it worked fine at first, but after a few weeks it suddenly stopped playing videos from apps like YouTube, BBC iPlayer, Netflix, etc. The TV would show my desktop normally, but any protected video would just load forever or show a black screen. I tested everything (WiFi, TV, cables) and the issue turned out to be the adapter failing the HDCP connection. As soon as I unplugged it, the videos played normally on my Mac again. Local videos and Photo Booth still worked, but anything from streaming apps didn’t — which is classic HDCP failure. Basically: ✔️ Works for basic screen mirroring ❌ Does not reliably support HDCP 2.2 for streaming apps ❌ Not suitable for MacBook Pro users in the long run I replaced it with an Anker/Apple/Uni adapter and everything works perfectly again. Save yourself the hassle and get a more reliable option if you need it for YouTube, iPlayer or any streaming service.

Works as intended. Seems sturdy and good quality. Note transmission direction is USB C to HDMI. It will NOT work in reverse, if you can manage that. Make sure your USB C port can handle video. I would purchase again.
