Paraffin Wax Machine for Hand and Feet, Paraffin Wax Warmer Quick-Heating Paraffin Bath Spa for Smooth and Soft Skin

This was my gift to my boyfriend for Valentine's Day this year. The following is his review of the product,. After a LOT of research, it appeared that this product would serve me best and I am certainly not disappointed. The quality of everything appears to be top notch, including temperature control, the included accessories and size of the unit. Everything you need was included to get started and I was bathing my hands in warm delight before you know it. The included wax was enough to fill it half way. If you want to immerse your whole hand, elbow, or other body part, you will want to order more wax to maximize it. It will hold 4 pounds of wax. If you have eczema or some other hand/skin condition, this will go a long way to combating that. It’s certainly not a cure but, holy cow, it’s a big relief. The heat also is helping with sore joints. I have only ONE complaint and that is how the lid was engineered. Surely, someone could have thought this through and did a better job. You simply cannot grab the lid and lift it off. It actually slipped out of my fingers and landed halfway into the wax creating quite a mess. The short little lip they provide is useless and needs help. MY solution was to drill a hole and put in a cabinet knob. It was a quick and dirty solution but it works a million times better than what they provided.

After going thru tons of reviews I settled for the Lavany Wax Machine. The price is right and includes all accessories you need. It is a little short on the wax but others do not include it. It has temperature control, which is important. The wax was melted within 30 minutes. I did not have to wait hours as some reviews of other brands stated. After was melted I set it temp down to 135 and waited a few minutes before using. The wax it brings is not enough to cover entire hand up to the wrist so I will need to purchase another 2 pounds to make it easier to get full hand cover. It is deep enough just needs more wax. The instructions are not that great. It does not mention what to do with the safety plate it brings. I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos for that. You put it in after wax is melted. Was not sure (still not sure) if it melts on the high temp. used to melt the wax. It is in there now. I guess I will find out when I turn it on again. I bought this wax machine for therapy for my hand. It arrived yesterday so I have only used it once. Unable to give a review on that or longevity of device. I will post update in a few weeks. Right now I give it 5 stars. Happy with my purchase.

It's a bit messy, but that's just the nature of this type of thing. You have to let it cool off a LOT after the wax melts -- you can't just dip your foot or hand in because dayum! It's HOT! I used the brush, and when it cooled off, I dipped. I use it on my feet, and put the plastic bags over the wax, then socks over that, and sleep with it on my feet. Oooh, baby! My feet are really soft in the morning! And as long as you're the only one using it, you can reuse the wax ('cause it does get kinda pricey if you don't). Wax smells nice. It's a bit of a process and a bit messy so I don't do it often -- especially not on a hot summer day when the thought of dipping my feet in hot wax is a definite "no thanks!" My friend uses her for her hands, which is easier. She does it every night before bed, and leaves the machine on all the time.

I have arthritis in hands and feet. The warmth from a paraffin bath provides a lot of drug-free temporary relief. I had an old one that wasn't large enough for my tootsies. This one is! It takes less than an hour to melt the wax, as promised (I keep it about 1/2 inch below max fill line). Love the temperature control. If I had one complaint, it's the handle on the lid. It can be difficult to grasp with arthritic hands, had to modify it. I purchased wax separately and did not use what was provided due to perfume sensitivities.

Great size, can get your whole hand in nicely. Helps my hand eczema - I get very dry, cracked, painful hands and this helps moisturize them. The wax melts fast, but I wish you could adjust the temp better - it has a dial but it doesn't seem to have any effect. It's REALLY hot. Wish it could be a little cooler so it doesn't sting, but once you dip once it feels ok.

It really works! Ever since I bought this product, I'm using it as soon as I have some time to myself. It adds moisture really to the next level and makes my skin soft and smooth. I didn't have to worry about touching the surface and burning my skin because it came with heat insulting grid. Also one more thing I loved very much was those thermal mitts! After using paraffin was by making many layers, I put glove liners and thermal mitts on for some time. And it really maximizes the result!

Product is currently UNUSABLE since the protective heat grill/insulation was NOT shipped with the product. And I have no intention of potentially burning myself to see if it works. I will give the company 3 days as of 8/9/2020 to reply or remedy this before just returning the item full stop and leaving my review as is. Item was delivered today (8/9) UPDATE 8/19: Returned previous one through Amazon in exchange for a new one, and after using for about 3 days I am satisfied with this product. Definitely gets very hot though which I saw in other reviews, so I recommend turning it off once the wax melts and leaving for a few minutes before turning back on the low setting and using, versus leaving it on low for a while as the instructions state. Otherwise you might burn yourself a lil. But ye, it feels good now that I feel comfortable using it.

Excellent product. I have been using it twice a day for hand arthritis. The product comes with plastic bags hand covering and then mittens to retain the warmth. My Physical therapist is very pleased with my flexibility improvement. The wax warms within ten mi ties at high heat and then stays warm at a lower setting. Very light and easy to store after cleaning!! Highly recommended!
