Is it possible to make a 3-way connection with these?

It is possible, yes, but it’s a little tricky. Two of the wires end up being twisted together and inserted into one side and the third wire ends up on the other side. You’ll likely have to use the next size up to accommodate the double strand. I’d recommend adding heat shrink to the side with the single wire, as it may not seal as well as the other side, since it’s stepped up. The connections I made this way have been in service on my car for more than two years without any issue.

Do these connectors work on 14 awg solid copper wire (in 14/2 waterproof cable) laid underwater to a small island (110 vac)?

We recommend you to use heat shrink crimp butt connectors. It woule be safer for your projects after the solid copper wire being crimped and heat shrinking. Can this be used with AC electrical?

It can be used with any wire. You have to find the size that you need. My husband used it on a beacon light that goes on top of your vehicle and it works really good.
