I have another very similar Totes umbrella, liked it, got this one, and I like it, too. I have one in the car, and one inside the house door, but the house one disappeared, so I got this one to replace it. Only detraction is the storage sleeve is pretty tight making it hard to slide on when the umbrella is folded and the strap wrapped around. The sleeve is not required to stow the umbrella as the wide velcro strap does a good job of keeping the umbrella compressed. The sleeve just makes the umbrella look more tidy when stored. Has a lanyard which is handy to hang the umbrella on a wall hook by the door. Handle is decent sized. Some have undersized handles requiring more effort to keep the umbrella upright in the wind and rain. This handle is right-sized. When I push the button to open, the umbrella almost fully opens. I have to push it the last couple of inches for full extension. That it folds back on itself is handy for flicking the umbrella closed and open to shake off the water before entering into a house or car. I would buy this again should I have another one that wanders off.

This umbrella is fine. The first few times I opened it it opened inside out. Eventually it started to work correctly. One thing I really don't like is that the band that wraps around it when it's closed hangs down on the side of the umbrella when you're using it. It is kind of wide and annoying to have it hanging down and flapping around while you're walking.

This easy to us umbrella is just the right size and fits perfectly in the door compartment on the driver’s side of my car. I always have it handy when I need it. It dries quickly and was economically priced.

I purchased this to replace my old Totes, that's beginning to show signs of rusting and it's not as smooth closing (but it's now about 20 years old). This new one however stopped working properly (on the hardest raining night when I needed it the most too)!This umbrella would flip out in the wind very often (didn't have to be a heavy wind either), but now the open/close feature doesn't work to where it will pop close sometimes but not collapse back into the locking system to reengage the button to open. Very disappointed in this. I looked about replacing it but to send it you have to pay $5 to return it! At that point I could use that money to buy another, as like right now this is on sale for $15. They should pay for the return, especially if mine is defective and legit still has the tags on it from when I bought it (because again it hadn't been used but at most 4 or so times)! I couldn't recommend this to anyone. I will try their traditional umbrella and not this reverse style again. Maybe those are better as that's what I had from 20 years ago that still works!

Great umbrella!

The inverted closing design make it so every time I open it there's almost a 50/50 chance of the umbrella opening incorrectly (turned inside out) which is super annoying when its raining hard. I bought 2 and both has this problem.Not very sturdy against strong winds, I find that most of the time winds may contribute to the umbrella opening inside out as well. When pressing it open you can also push it against the wind to minimize this, but still annoying (and embarrassing.)I still kept the product because it works well in light to moderate rain. Once its opened correctly I haven't had any issues of it going inverted while in use.
