Lay's Potato Chips, Classic, 10 Ounce

classic chips: i love these also... but i wish for a little less salt. shipped in a special shipping box for safe transport. fresh and delicious. arrived in very good condition. the price is right. arrives at front door with free shipping.update: too good. i can't eat just one... one entire bag at a sitting while drinking plenty of iced tea watching my favorite videos on the internet.wavy is my absolute favorite now. thank you.

As my title imply, I'm pretty satisfied with this chip.I've been frequenting the Lay's Stack tubing type previously until I found amazon dropped the price for this, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the classic, wavy original, cheddar, as well as the sour cream, all tasted as good as the tubing(the blue plastic tube packaging) type. Fresh and tasty. One of the biggest thing I noticed is the salt in this lay's branded is all applied smoothly. So far I've consumed 10+ bags already, none of them tasted different, while in some other brands, you'd get two bags with different amount of salt, especially the chips in the bottom portion of the bag - -..Only one thing I don't really like, slightly a bit too much salt...maybe they are designed to be served with drink?? Anyway, 4 stars.PS: amazon priced these $15+ per bag in the past..unbelievable!!! Did they think they can really sell a single bag for that price? Anyway, they then dropped the prices to around $3.5 per bag which is just hitting the acceptable line. Recently, they dropped the prices again down to around $2.75(buying some other small bands locally are less than 2 bucks, around $1.5~2 for this kind of 10 ounce family pack), so this becomes one of my daily snack lol~Very nice packaging BTW (also 2 photos uploaded for this). Amazon has really put a lot of effort in this, they put two supporting cardboard as the frame with one flat cardboard in between to divide the box into two layers, and so chips can be put into each little box to better protect them from crashing. I'd love them if they can keep the shipping low for long as they finally established the business physically in CA, the same state where I reside. Maybe start paying the tax in compensation for the shipping? hum....

For the price I paid, you would think there would be more in the bag or 2 bags and the product tasted a little stale.

Average chip I don't know what to say lol. I I can tell you they came in decent condition and were not smashed up or anything so yay for that.

especially for purchasing online, the price was fantastic, even with s&h and we'll probably never see such a good deal on this item again but I sure would like to because I'd buy it every time I saw it at $2.75/bag - I've only seen a lower price in the local store one time (2 for $4.99) for the same exact item but I prefer to buy online

They are the same chips that you get at the store. These are the big bags, 1 size smaller than family size. Great price with free shipping. I'm doing more grocery shopping online now.

What can I say, they're Lay's Classic potato chips. They go good with just about anything. And the price is good.

I had no idea I could order such things from Amazon. A great way to shop for snacks actually. They were fresh, undamaged, and of course, tasty as they should be.
