Fantastic grow kit
Took a very short time to set up (of course soaking seeds and medium did take a night) and is going strong! Just a window in the room and my TV seems to be enough light for it to grow relatively fast. All of the seeds were viable. Could have come with clear domes but I don't mind misting often

Grows a great batch of grass, smells like fertilizer.
I actually got this to feed my cat's grass. There's such a strong manure smell however they don't care to eat it.Grows good grass, but has a smell...

Good viable seeds
I bought this about 3 years ago but never used it right away. Finally, this last summer I did, and all sprouted. Everything from my cats to the peacocks and turkeys loved the treat.

Solved a problem for me
I do not grow this grass for myself. I have a guinea pig with health issues who does very well with grass. In winter I cannot go out and cut fresh for him. I had tried growing Kentucky Blue Grass indoors which didn’t work well because I couldn’t grow it fast enough to keep up. I tried this Wheat Grass kit, and it was remarkable. After using the first pack all at once I found this was far more than I needed and used just a portion of a bag at a time. If you run out of the big round disks in the kit, you can substitute Jiffy Pots. I have not used this product for its intended human person, but for my uses, it was great.

Easy to use kit
The media could not be loaded. It’s a very easy to use kit. The grass grows. The 3rd photo is about a week after I placed the soaked seeds into the soil I left the container under the luminescent light overnight. Today I juiced it for the first time with my slow juicer and from half the container of grass, I got 50 ml or so of juice. You don’t need much of it daily. I mixed it with the juice of one green apple. It was ok to ingest, the scent was strong like you just cut the grass and it was slightly bitter. Overall good experience, I’ll try to do it daily. My cat also loves the grass, I gave him some in the bowl but next time I’ll put some for him in a separate pot.

Got it for my dog
Our dog likes it but he pulls it out roots and all. It was easy to grow and probably works better for human consumption.

Disappointed!!
Growing it was easy. However some of the seeds did not grow and according to what was read, each tray should yield 10 ounces. Even if both trays yielded 10 ounces Id of been happy...Both trays only yielded 6 ounces. Not even a weeks worth. I even have 2 masticating juicers and one is specifically used for herbs, wheatgrass etc.
