My gardening fave
I got these G & F Products Florist Pro Long Sleeve Rose Gardening Gloves for myself, and let me tell you, they’re a game changer As someone who spends a lot of time gardening in the summer, I needed something thick and durable, and these gloves deliver. They protect my arms and hands from thorns, while still being flexible enough to work comfortably. Plus, they’re long enough to keep me safe from my rose bushes and other prickly plants we have. I'm also allergic to some evergreen trees so I can work around them without my arms turning red. If you're into gardening, these are definitely a must-have!

Excellent protection
I have worn many gloves in my life but these are the most comfortable, and protective until my elbow, that i am glad i bought them, just in time to clear around the near 100 pineapple plants we have aside and behind the house. Their long sharp leafs have teeth and can cut your skin with sudden and unexpected onslaught. These gloves let you penetrate deep under the plant to clear the soil of unwanted tree leafs so you can fertilize and water can penetrate it instead of staying on those foreign leafs and evaporate. The fingers are very flexible and make it easy to use snippers or hold a scoop.I'm not giving it 5 *s because the gloves are made of a thin material and get quickly wet; then need to be washed after every use or they dry into a hard shell. As for the price however, they are a welcome tool i have been without for too long.

Good for Pruning Thorny Stuff
I have thorny bushes in my yard. No idea what they are and I plan to tear them out, but the first step was getting them down to a manageable size. The thorns on the plants range from very tiny- like a rose thorn- through gargantuan one-inch or more thorns. The gloves fit well- I'm a woman, but have larger hands. They're also comfortable and flexible enough to use while working. Love the extra arm coverage. As for thorn protection, the smaller thorns don't penetrate. I don't even feel them. The big scary ones do, but I really don't know if any fabric, even leather, could withstand those beasts. I'm super happy with these gloves overall.

Liked them, Bought again.
I wanted work/gardening gloves for my wife with good forearm protection so I bought these five years ago and they were very nice. The stitching at the base of the thumbs finally started coming apart this past summer and the leather was wearing tin in a few spots so I just got another pair for each of us.

Great gloves!
I actually bought these gloves, not only for rose bush pruning, but for regular weeding ever since I got poked by a stinging nettle plant--ow! These gloves are sturdy, go up to mid-arm and are fairly comfortable--they will be stiff for a while until you break them in. These do the job and protect your hands and arms from all the bitey plants out there. Very pleased!

Tough, Light weight, durable!
I use these gloves for gardening, and they are thin enough that I can feel what I am pulling. Yet I also use them for culling wild roses, and the thorns never bite me. These gloves are everything I need in one product. I would order more, but they don’t wear out!
