Love it
I had this game as a kid and found it on Amazon! Love it so much be aware it’s an old game the quality is low but I bought it for the nostalgia and it was worth it! Love Jack Sparrow and it’s a cool game to have for the nieces and nephews. I like to see them playing games I use to play.

A great gift idea
I bought this for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas and it's a big hit. Not only does it look cool, the games that come with it are a lot of fun. Super easy to hook up and use so kids can do it themselves no problem. A great gift idea for any kid.

nice
My 9 year old was a little disappointed because you have to pass each level to get to the next island. He wanted to be able to go to any island and play that game. My 5 year old likes playing it, but of course he can't pass the first island.

Great first video game for kids
I wanted to buy a video game type toy for my 4 year old son without spending a lot of money on an X Box type of gaming system. The game has different islands that you sail to. On the way to each island you can battle other pirate ships, which is about all my son can do at this point but he has enough fun doing that. Once you have landed on a island, you can sword fight other characters from the Pirates movie, go on a treasure hunt or have a cannon battle with other ships. As you complete each battle you can move onto the next island where the battles get more difficult. My husband and I have more fun playing this game than my son but we are also from the Pong/asteriods generation of "gamers" and so our standards are pretty low! We gave this toy to some neighborhood kids about 11 years old and they didn't seem to excited to recieve the gift; they could be spoiled X-Box gamers! Anyway, for the price, I thought this game was great.

Piratey
It says that its for 10 yrs and up. I believe them, but i think 6 yr old boys will be able to play this. My son could not understand the game yet, he's only 1yr 10months. he likes pressing on the button though. I enjoyed the game myself, simple enough, child's play.

Given as a gift
Receiver thought it was cute but a bit antiquated for today's games. I don't know if he ever tried it.
