Why are you reading reviews? Just buy it!
I mean look at it! How cool is that? I had my eye on this coat for a while trying to justify when and how to buy it. Then for my birthday my parents asked if I wanted something practical or fun. My eyes lit up as I exclaimed "a wookie coat!". It is both fun and practical.I was a little hesitant to wear it out in the public at first, fearful of name calling and someone thinking it was made from real fur. But I dawned it and went to the premier of Captain America. People would stare at first and then realize what it was and a smile would burst across their face. Some people would try the wookie call and laugh, others would come up and want to touch it and look it over. It's a real conversation starter so if you're on the shy side, I would recommend leaving it at home. Now about the actual coat. For what it is, it's actually rather light. But it gets warm and it gets warm fast. My love for Star Wars surpasses my living in Southern California, so I won't be wearing it around much, but every chance I get I will. I was expecting the bottom hem to be more form fitting but it just kind of hangs around. Maybe mine is just bunk, because the one in the photo looks pretty good. I also get a hair ball every time I wear the coat, but I don't mind.

A warm welcome to Star Wars fans
I'm in awe of this jacket. I was a little concerned that it would a shoddy, 3rd party jacket, but it's made from good quality materials. It has a few problems though. The one I got had a hole on the inseam of the hood where it just wasn't stitched together. And every so often, if I move a certain way, I can hear stitches pop, so I wouldn't wear this and do any kind of work that involves alot of moving/bending over. That being said, this thing it WARM! I work in a cooler for long periods of time, and that could can eat through alot od my heavier jackets after a while except for this one. You could stay warm on Hoth with this thing on. My only other concern as of now is how to wash it. I'm afraid if I do, itll lose alot of its fur (wanting, it does shed).

Favorite Hoodie EVER! (Best geek item in my expanding geeky wardrobe)
This hoodie became an instant favorite coat for me! Only a handful of people have seen it (I work graveyard shift so... I don't see tons of folks!) and yet it's been quite the hit, with coworkers and random strangers at 24hr stores when I do my shopping in the wee hours.First of all, I did get mine from a different online retailer, where I get a lot of my nerdy clothes because they have a nice points system for rewards, but it's the same coat available here, and for a very similar price. I happened to get mine when it was on sale, and with a 30% off coupon... Yay! But I love this thing so much I would surely pay the $79.99 MSRP. Here is why:1. Who doesn't love Chewbacca?? Exactly, everyone loves Chewie!2. This thing is not cheap, but not really overpriced considering materials and quality. The fur is the perfect sorta gangly, semi-ratty, wookie hair looking stuff, without looking or feeling cheap. The construction is great. The embroidery and patchwork of the bandolier thingee is fantastic. The cuffs are soft and thick, but not super stretchy/tight. The entire interior - body, arms, hoodie and pockets - has a light jersey t-shirt fabric lining so it's pretty soft and not itchy from the faux fur backing anywhere. The hood is perfect, thick and has good and sturdy hoodie string. The pockets are decent-sized and on-seam.3. It's super warm. Now that I am in the South West, this is about as warm as I will ever need to be, and might be a "winter-only" item excepting that I work at night and the desert is cool at night. This thing works out great for me even now in the spring. :-)4. Officially licensed SW product - so not a knockoff item5. Your nerdy friends will be jealous because... YOU HAVE A WOOKIE HOODIE!Bottom line: I love it. It's been a fantastic purchase. I adore letting my nerd-flag flap in the wind and making random people smile/laugh. Alternately, you could wear this as a costume only, and it would keep you nice and toasty come October. This would be a great quality gift for a Star Wars fan buddy of yours, or for yourself! For reference: I am a lady, 5'6", 150lbs, 36C and this fits great in Small. In women's clothes I usually wear a large, and men's tops I usually go Small or Medium. Checking the size chart I picked Small and it fits great... just a little bit of room for layers, but not too huge. Also, I added some pictures of the hood, the fabric, embroidery and pocket. Hope this helps!Best of luck and enjoy your wookie hoodie and/or gifting this awesome item to a SW fan you love! :DUPDATE 06/08/2016: This hoodie looks AWESOME with the viral-video popularized: Star Wars The Force Awakens Chewbacca Electronic Mask

runs a half size small and the quality aint great but it's still pretty awesome...
I bought the XXL for my brother who normally wears XL - this seems to fit somewhere between XL and XXL I would say it runs a half size small. So it fits large on him but I think the XL would have been too small.I am a bit disappointed with quality - the picture shows a rich brown color with nice fluffy shag. The one I got is more of a dull brown and the shag is flat and matted. Also, I do not know how well this will hold up in the washing machine.however I will say that the idea behind this hoody is flippen awesome - it gets loads of attention and people love it. even the guys at the customs office loved it and asked me where I got it.

A great jacket, especially if the price is around $40-$50
A great jacket, especially if the price is around $40-$50. It isn't a piece of cake to wash as you will be hand washing it if you want things to go perfect. It is also slightly bigger than expected size-wise, but still fits those wearing it just fine. It is a very heavy and warm jacket, with extremely soft faux fur. It looks great. We bought it here as a giveaway piece internally and it has gotten a lot of attention since. -- Jen // Poc Network

A tall guys review( Love it!)
Got this on Halloween so perfect timing. It is thicker than I thought it would be. More of a jacket than a hoodie but its fantastic for the cold weather. Keeps you warm! Im 6'3, 223lbs and the XL is perfect fit. After reading some reviews I was worried that it would be too small and happy thats not the case.Like others have said, the pockets could be better as they dont hold items as great as they should. A inside pocket or zippers on the outside pockets would be cool, but I love it none the less. Lots of comments!

Size a bit too large, be care
The product is ok, you will not bring this to trek as it's not a super technical product, and you can feel it's more a joky sweater than a fashion item, but this is not the goal of this Hoodie. The outside is perfect, the inside is in brown t-shirt cotton finishing (I was expecting more something like polartec but ok it a bit disappointing when you don't know. See my pictures to have a good idea).Be care for european, because the sizing is typically US, I ordered a small sized one, and actually, it's too big for her, it's more my size. I usually wear european Medium size but here, Small is my size.My pictures here are a bit blueish so abstract the color

Comfortable, but you got to take care of it ...
Got to run this sweater through the wash a couple of times. NOTE: you have to knot out all the tangles once the sweater dries. Fun to wear and love it. A little bit of a maintenance issue, but easily overlooked. Very comfortable!
