These harness/leash sets give me peace of mind while my kitties go exploring in the backyard.
This Rabbitgoo cat harness and leash in lavender, arrived well packaged and undamaged. This is actually my third set of this product. I also have two in black that I've been using successfully for a couple years now.I have been using the two black ones for my bigger male cat. I attach the leash to a long leash/ tether, so he can roam around the backyard but not go over the fences to visit the neighbors. I didn't need a harness/leash for my smaller female until recently when she was no longer content to just hang out in her cat tent, and began tearing the tent tunnel netting to escape, if I turned my back for any length of time. After numerous tent escapes and tedious repairs I made (even tried bribing her by placing a plantar of cat grass in the tent), I decided to try letting her out of the tent on a leash. She has been overjoyed to be able to go in the backyard and not have to be in her tent all the time. She actually lets out little cries of excitement when I place her on the grass. It took a few days to get her acclimated to the harness/ leash and tether line, without being jumpy, but it now seems to be working. They need a little time to get used to the feeling that something is holding them, and realizing they can just ignore it, and still walk like normal. These harnesses can be adjusted to be very secure, yet not too tight. However, both my male and female are able to get out of their harness if they get stuck or startled by something and I'm not right there to calm them, so that's a good safety feature for emergencies.Be sure to check the size chart and measure your kitty before ordering. I will probably order a back up leash in lavender just in case I temporarily misplace this one. The highlight of my kitties day is their backyard time. We usually go out morning and before sunset so they can watch all the birdies I feed and provide water for (in an area that is out of their tether range), and try to catch all the lizards who hang out too.

Much better fit
I have a cat that was an inside/outside cat so she is use to going outside unsupervised. Unfortunately she made the mistake of going where she should not of and was attacked by a dog. Luckily she made it back home, then to the vet and back home as a tripod cat now. She can go outside yet it is very unwise for any pet owner to do such with a cat that is an amputee. They will always be safer inside or with supervision if they are allowed outside. Because I have trained all my cats to the boundaries of their yard using a harness I had one on hand yet after using a couple of times on the cat I was just not sure if it would do what was needed and not snap loose (training a cat to a harness is like saddle breaking a horse; trust is a big issue so patience and the right equipment is needed). I bought a harness that stated it was designed for amputee cats...well that was a huge fail due to it being bulky and more of a straight jacket on the cat. This one looked more along the lines of that I have trained cats in before just a little bulkier (the one I was using is designed the same yet only uses 3/4" straps which is why I was afraid my cat might get out). This one can be adjusted nicely yet I will state you must always be sure to be using it correct otherwise the cat can get out by slipping backward from it; in another words never use it while pulling your cat forward which is true of most harnesses. This one may of not been tight enough on my cat when this occurred indoors while using it. It may of also been part of her suddenly shifting into reverse, lol. The harness it's self has elastic bands which allow some extra movement so most likely I just had it to loose. I will find that out on our next try of this that is for sure.Final opinion: seems to be a good harness and not as bulky as some. Breath-ability is there yet I do know from training other cats in other type harnesses that they will always show signs of "sweating" there it fits to them (just as we do with our clothes). Range of motion is great just make sure you purchase the right size....these are not like buying kids shoes. you must buy what it needed so it can work properly. don't be tempted to purchase the next size up because the cat will get out. Comfort...Well I don't really know because my cat does not speak, lol. I do know she is more able to move about in this one when compared to the straight jacket one yet not as free to move as the 3/4" one which is most likely due to her to simple get use to it which I have seen in all that I have trained.

XS still big
UPDATE DOWN THE BOTTOMI have a 4-5 year old Tabby that has longer fur and long body. She is also just about full grown size. After going through an obscene amount of reviews and seeing the consensus for similar cats was an XS I decided on the XS. It’s been a few weeks now since it arrived and began using it, so my thoughts on this definitely would be the XS is still somewhat big. My cat has no problems with me putting it on her and leaving it on. She never tried to take it off, but when she lays down, although all the straps are at the tightest they can go, if she rolls or moves a certain way when laying down she can easily remove her legs without even trying, which then is simple to pull her head out. After much trial and error I found that it is much easier to get a tighter fit by adjusting everything first before snapping it into place. Once my cat is out and about walking around my worry about it coming off goes away, but I still am hesitant when/if she lays down that it will loosen up on her legs and she could get away. I do suggest giving it at least a week for the cat to get acclimated to a harness and leash, especially if they never worn one like mine and to play around with the adjustments. I do think this harness will be too big for kittens or cats younger. Overall the quality is really top notch and I feel my cat will not escape and be safe with the harness and leash. Just make sure you measure your cat well, do not skip that step or you may not have a cat to even wear a harness anymore.Update 11/23 so it’s been some months since initial purchase and use. It is holding up strong. My cat has fully gotten use to it and when she sees her harness she instantly runs up to it or me indicating she wants to go for a walk. It has trained her to know can not sneak it unless she has it on. Sounds crazy I know! Who would of thought you could train a house cat lol this has been my favorite cat item purchase ever. Lastly, my cat has grown a lot since I first purchased the harness. She is full grown size now and then some with all her fluff and the size XS fits her perfectly now without any concerns of slipping out.

Worth every penny!
Loved loved loved these harnesses and leashes. They stayed on the cats beautifully. But the best part was the cats did not seem to mind them at all! The fit was perfect with exception of our kitten (she fit the minimum measurements). These sturdy and soft harnesses are a keeper!

Make sure you measure your cat.
Fits well but my cat still figured out how to get out of it.

It looks well-made and cute as well
But!!!! my cat is hyper nervous to begin with so I left the harness on her bed next to her for a while, and she got used to the idea of it being there so that I loosened it all the way up one day and I tried to get it over her head. She freaked out to let past her ears And it was loose all the way and it was still a little bit tight to go further so rather than loose her affection forever I backed off and tried a couple of days later! She feels like she’s being choked when I tried to put this over her head, and if I actually got it over ahead, the buckles for the neck are much too big and too severe. It should be something much smaller, or even some sort of elastic, because in the end, if she does get away, you don’t want to feel like she’s going to hang herself it should be breakaway, even if she runs away, she will be alive compared to choking to death! I looked at the instructional video and I measured her to make sure I ordered the proper size and I’m sure if she was not hyper nervous I could’ve got it over her head but the point is it’s going to stress her out just trying to get it on and then if she does have an experience where she’s really nervous, she’s going to go wild with that thing choking herI’m sitting on this for another couple of days because I really want to enjoy things with her and the earnest does look like it’s well-made, but these plastic nylon buckles are much bigger than they need to be and should be replaced with something smaller and lighter weight may small aluminum buckle as opposed to a huge nylon buckle? Additionally, most cats will try to back out of the problem they got into and there’s nothing other than her rib cage to hold the rear part of the harness on and they will simply escape and back out of the chest part and then fight like hell to get their head out of the front part so the only way you can prevent losing your kitty is nearly choke to death with the first part of the harness! I’m not into that at all. I think this is a problem that doesn’t have a solution. I don’t blame the company for trying to make one. I think they made a decent attempt but it’s just not gonna fly. I wish they would make it so the kitty would step into it and you could buckle behind the rib cage and then pull up the unbuckled neck collar and snap together behind her neck.

Sit well for 6 months kitten
I’m really happy with this harness! My kitten is 6 months old and I got him a size XS — it fits him really well. It feels secure without restricting his movement, and he can walk, sit, run around, and explore comfortably. It’s also easy to put on and adjust, and the leash is lightweight enough for a kitten. We’ve already taken it on a few walks and he seems very comfortable wearing it. I feel much safer taking him outside knowing he can’t easily slip out of the harness.Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to safely take their cat on outdoor adventures! 🐾💚

Not escape proof, straps loosen on there own, still recommended though
Definitely not escape proof at all but provides enough time to grab your cat befor escape, straps loosen on there own some on a long walk, check and retighten. If you don't get the exact size for your cat they escape super easily but get the correct size and it's a good harness. My cat doesn't mind it at all and materials are soft and breathable but if you have a cat that scratches the harness they will shred it. Overall one if the better harnesses on the market, no harness is 100% escape proof from any company. I do recommend this harness

Bra kvalite
Lite stor för min lilla kattunge men kommer till användning när hon blir lite större. Verkar väldigt bra. Bra kvalite. Rekommenderar.

So far so good!
Just what I wanted! Gorgeous color and a perfect fit for my itty bitty cat. The buckles and padding keep her snug inside the harness, and I love the inclusion of elastic bands around the buckles for a small bit of natural movement with the harness. My indoor cat isn't the biggest fan of the harness popping over her head to get it on but she loves being able to explore outside and eating the grass. The leash itself isn't much to write home about but for my cat, its just fine.
