Brewing loose tea is a bit more trouble but in this case, well worth it. I am in charge of making tea for an annual event that our women's club sponsors and this is the tea I make for 80 attendees. I have yet to have anyone say that they don't like it. Rinse it with a little hot water while waiting for the water to boil and the leaves will bloom, enhancing the flavor. Review: Yum - Delicious!

Loose leaf darjeeling: Utterly without fragrance or taste
I ordered the loose-leaf darjeeling. It was completely lacking in fragrance or taste. Utterly disappointing. I typically use TAZO organic darjeeling tea bags (which produce a flavorful cup of tea). I decided to try Republic of Tea loose leaf for environmental reasons--no bags, strings, etc. What a mistake!---at least with this brand of darjeeling. I'll probably end up tossing this expensive bag of tea, because there's no pleasure, flavor, or savor in the resulting cup of brewed tea.
