What is volume of argon (at atmospheric pressure) in can?

Assuming ideal gas laws, 7.18 liters of ultra pure argon. We package at about 160 psi, the limit of the DOT 2Q containers. Basically we put as much gas as legally allowed into the container. The package is designed to deliver a slow, steady spray of gas for 150 seconds which, at 2 seconds per use in quarts, drops the price per use to 17 cents.

How long does one can last on average or how many applications will one can achieve?

One can should last for 75 applications in quarts or about half that in gallons. Shelf life is unlimited. You can tell when the gas is gone by feeling the flow while spraying onto your wrist or ear.

Does this contain a bitterant like many canned air dusters?

Don't know what a "bitterant" is. Do know this product works. I am renovating the living room & dining room in my 120 year old house. I have been stripping, staining & refinishing about 200 pieces. It has kept 2 quarts of stain & 3 quarts of poly fresh almost all the way to the bottom. Definitely worth the money.

is it compatible with diesel fuel?

Yes. Lots of our customers preserve diesel fuel and gasoline during long term storage. Remember that in this situation it's important to purge the empty space in your container well. Also consider that some tanks to have vents, but Bloxygen is heavier than air and completely inert.
