These really work at making output thicker and helping mask some of the odor. They do not completely erase odor but helps a lot.

I use this because I have an ileostomy. It really helps with my hygiene.

My mom has dementia and she has an ostomy pouch. As her caregivers, we quickly had to figure out how to manage a pouch. My mom was always discreet about this, so we didn’t really know anything about it. With dementia, as her diet changed, output became more liquid than solid, the pearls really helped absorb the liquid so we didn’t have as many leaks overnight.

This product is fantastic. I’ve ordered it several times. I keep buying it for its solidifying ability and oder reduction. But the length of time you have to wait for delivery is something that really needs attention by the sellers. It’ll say it’s arriving on a certain date or between, let’s say, Aug 4 and Aug 10. It always seems to arrive on the latest date or after, Aug 10,12… Sometimes I’ve had it delayed longer. Please seller work on fixing this. I love the product but when I order it I’d like to see it arrive in a timely fashion. I know if I find something that works close to as well AND arrives on time, I’ll switch in a heartbeat. Because some products you want and need on time or even early.

These little packets are amazing! If you have watery, high output in your iliostomy bag, you'll LOVE these! They're pricey but totally worth it. The little gel packs absorb the liquid and prevent back splash onto the stoma area. I wasn't expecting them to work so well, nor did I realize how often the output splashing back burned and caused leaks. These little pearls are life savers!

Since using these I have had no leaks at night and only have to get up once. I have an ileostomy.
