Better Home ZCR3048 Adjustable Closet Rod Adjusts 30-48"

It is so hard to find these at the hardware stores these days. Everything is a fancy closet organizing system or shelving. If you need a simple old-fashioned clothes rod that screw mounts into the walls, then this will meet your needs at a very reasonable price.

This Rod is really great and strong. I use it to hang my clothes in an awkward shaped space in my basement. I was glad that it came with a center support. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the ends seem to be made to mount to something so I had to hammer them in so I could mount them directly to my wall. I don't know if this is my mistake or the manufacturers but either way it is strong and fits perfectly.

Very nice! Substantial. I've used bars like this for years, but WalMart no longer carries them. Those had plastic wall mounts. This is all metal. Another site had a similar rod for over $100 with $30 shipping. I don't see how it could be any better.

Closet rod has an extra tab for support. I removed the extra tab with a hammer to get the rod to fit correctly. So far so good!

Fits well, but the finish had a coating of rust on the telescoping tube.

All what I needed was this adjustable rod to install inside my closet, I used a battery screw driver. Everything is good and organized now, i hung 25 shirts and 10 pants on it!

We have an extra room in our home that is 9' x 11' and we decided to make it into a walk in closet after a decade of using it for storage. However spanning 9' with a standard closet rod is not an easy feat. We found a number of options and finally settled on two of these. They do the job and we're glad the "holders" are attached to the pole itself. However, due to this being upstairs in a cape we now have to find a way to rig a support about half way down each with slanted ceilings. These seem to be OK on their own, but we don't want to risk 9' of clothing coming crashing down. We're recommend.
