Initially very pleased with the item. This is my 3rd airfryer that I have purchased over the years. It looks an impressive bit of kit and it can cook a large amount of food. Digital temperature and timer works well and the few bits of food that I havd cooked in it (mainly fries, nuggets) have turned out well. However as per my pictures, there is a problem with the LCD screen as the 3rd digit does not display properly. Contacted Amazon and all they offered was a return and refund. But the cost of the item has increased since I purchased so I would have to pay more to buy the item again.They could not offer a replacement as the item is from a marketplace seller who just store their items in the Amazon warehouse. So now I have to try and contact the seller direct to see if they can help..... UPDATE-26th Oct: I contacted the seller direct and they were very helpful. They sent me out a new airfryer which works perfectly. Upgraded the rating to 5 stars.

Now why didn't I buy one of these years ago?! What can I say. Its an air fryer. Once you learn just how versatile this appliance is you'll wonder why you never tried one sooner. This brand & model is my first air fryer. So without a comparison I can give only my opinion of this one. Cooks almost anything you can think of. Pizza, pies, chips. Chops. Steak. Sunday roast. Hot wings, whole chicken (granted a small one in my models case). Fish fingers, burgers. Potatoes. Cakes. Just about anything you would bake, fry, deep fry, grill. It uses a fraction of oil. It cooks much quicker. So easy to clean. Easy to use. Watch some videos, and be sure to get the size you and family require. The one I got is perfect for single or two people. Review Edit 2nd Oct 2024 - I have had this for over four years now. It stopped making any sounds about a year ago. A minor annoyance. Everything else works as well as the day I got it. As someone who rarely cooks for more than myself this (Air fryers in general) appliance is simply amazing. Compact, quick and easy to clean. Grab yourself an accessory bundle for your air fryer, they too make cooking with, and cleaning them much easier. My Updated Verdict = One of the best appliances I have bought.

Best French Fries EVER (cooked from from frozen) Thank you to the seller for replying to my question about cooking sausages and burgers in the Bagotte Air Fryer. Sausages can be cooked by laying sausages on parchment paper to prevent smoking. So far, I have used it to cook frozen French fries (bought from Aldi) and honestly, they were the best I've ever had; totally cooked to perfection (or at least the way I like them). I also tried the seedy bread buttered on both sides with cheese and English mustard and it was super. Only issue I had was that I could only fit one slice at a time, which was in my 4.5 Ltr version. I'm going to see if I can find a rack to fit in it, then I should be able to cook several items at the same time - (that was one of the things I liked about using my previous Halogen ovens - that I could cook several items of food at the same time using the racks that came with them. If the manufacturer/seller included racks for this, it would save a lot if cooking time by being able to add other food items and cook at the same time. (Just a thought). My Smart meter showed that by cooking food at 75C, that it costs 32 pence per hour (I'm on British Gas) quarterly billed. My ONLY real gripe is that 100 Recipes are advertised as being included in the purchase but my recipe booklet only has a total of 40! It was one of the reasons for me purchasing this product, as I generally just get by in the cooking department and the more recipes included would have given me a greater variety of food to easily cook. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars! I don't have room for a dishwasher so wash up in the sink and this 4.5 Ltr version has so far been easy to clean. The 4.5 Ltr version looks very nice as well and being white, blends in nicely in my kitchen. I have gone through three halogen ovens, that either broke down or had issues with them and had to be returned. If this lasts, then it will be great value and I'd happily recommend it.

This air fryer is fantastic. I had a Phillips air fryer for 5 years that was also very good, but extremely awkward to clean. This Bagotte air fryer ticks every single box. It's a great air fryer, it cooks well, and is simplicity itself to clean. I'm fortunate to have a dishwasher, and you can pop this in your dishwasher, how great is that. If you don't have a dishwasher it's still so very easy to clean, just put it in your sink with some hot soapy water, leave to soak while you have a cuppa come back to it and it simply wipes clean. I cannot praise this air fryer enough it's perfection in the air fryer world.

This has made my life much easier every single day. I got rid of my Philips airfryer when I was moving houses and soon regretted this but saw it as an opportunity to invest In one that was bugger and more easy on the eye. I must say this one is certainly aesthetically pleasing but it's not about looks is it...you want to know how it COOKS. Well, we have 2 portions of chips ready in 15 mins, a full peri chicken cooked in 45mins, chicken tikka cubes ready in 12 mins, pastry goods all nice and puffy in 10 mins, sausages and rashers ready in 7 mins and burgers ready in 12 mins. I usually have the heat on between 180 and 200 degrees when cooking. It is a dream to clean in comparison to the Philips airfryer thanks to the non mesh basket and I believe its dishwasher friendly albeit I ahvent tried this yet. We love this airfryer.

Purchased during Black Friday Nov 2019. Stopped working Sept 2020 with minimal use. A bit large but cooked well, easy to use and clean. Then I had to press a bit harder on the buttons, then had to keep reopening the drawer to lock it and then it wouldn’t register door was locked at all. Amazon excellent re giving refund. Save yourself the trouble and go with a well known brand.

My experience ordering this fryer has shown me how the measure of a company lies in how it responds when things go wrong. The first fryer I received had a defective fan. I sent a video of the fault to Bagotte, who immediately sent a replacement. After the second was lost by the courier, Bagotte sent a third which works perfectly. Their customer service throughout was friendly and efficient, and they not once hesitated to make amends, even when the fault lay with others. The fryer's fantastic. It makes amazing chips with virtually no oil. Truly a miracle of modern science. My previous deep fat fryer expired long ago and I'll not be replacing it.

First the good points: it looks very stylish on the countertop. That’s it really. The bad points outweigh the good. The food cooks unevenly, no matter how much you shake the pan. If you are cooking something that you can turn over, then it is more evenly browned. Chips turn out awful. They end up very burnt on top and really pale at the bottom of the pan. It’s not easy to shake them so they move from the top to the bottom and you cannot use a utensil to turn the chips over because they break up when you try. There is a heating element at the top of the fryer so that is why the food gets very brown at the top, it’s like a grill but with a fan at the back of the fryer to spread the heat around. No matter how much oil you douse your fresh chips in or whether you soaked and towel dried them first or not, they stick to bottom and the holes of the pan. Oven chips turn out the same. I also bought a smaller version of this fryer for my mother. That doesn’t work any better. The same comments as above, apply. My airfryer died in early January after having been used no more than 7 times, 3 months after purchase. Each time I tried to turn it on, my electricity was cut off. I contacted Bagotte who said they wanted me “to be happy” and they asked me to send them a video of what the airfryer was/was not doing. I sent the video and they responded and said that it could not be repaired and that they would send me a new machine, which made me happy. That was until they found out I lived in France. Unfortunately, Bagotte will only send a replacement machine out to an address in the UK. Odd really, when they were happy enough to send the first machine out to an address in France. I was offered a 60% refund, no more because they do not receive much of a profit from Amazon on these units and it would cost them too much money to send it back to China. Why should I lose out because Bagotte do not make much profit on these airfryers and I live abroad? I was told I could send the machine to a friend in the UK. Well, that doesn’t help me, does it? I am also not sure which of my UK friends would even want it. Great idea Bagotte. Oh yes, I could send it to a friend and let them pay the huge amount of postage to send the machine to me. Yes, that’ll work! To this date, I have received nothing for the airfryer. The coronavirus pandemic got in the way and then I moved to Spain. I have sent a couple of emails to Bagotte since moving but have heard nothing back from them. My broken airfryer ended up in a dump in France, a shame really because it really did look nice. Buyer beware.
