Lovely book. Story is heartfelt and illustrations are very nice.

Always have an extra copy of this and her other books for baby gifts. Sweet, fanciful, with lovely pictures.

This has been my favorite book to read to my kids as a reminder that they are loved no matter what !

Nancy Tillman children's books are just beautiful! This one, and others (You're Here For a Reason, The Day You Were Born) have such loving prose and poetry with beautiful illustrations. Perfect to build your child's library. The sturdy board books welcome little hands!

This is a beautiful heartfelt book. I bought it for my adult child living out of state.

Our daughter was giving a Nancy Tillman book as a baby "On the Night You Were Born" and it had been a staple favorite for bedtime. As our daughter has gotten older and she had been sleeping in her own bed she would ask the question before she would sleep, "How will I know you love me? I will miss you." So I'd always tell her that her heart is made of half of mine and half of her dad's and no matter what it is always there. So seeing this book, I knew I had to get it just for her! She absolutely loves it! It answers the question she's been asking for 3.5 years most nights and she doesn't ask anymore because her book tells her in the sweetest ways. I read it before we gave it to her and I sobbed like a little girl. As a Mom, it just is the perfect book for the little kid wanting to know just how to know where you love is when they cannot see it, or you.

This is such a beautifully written book and it is hands down my favorite book for both of my kids

This is such a heart string pulling book. All of the books by this author seem to be really sweet. Well written. The illustrations are wonderful. I read it to my daughter often. Side note tho. And this is gonna be dark. But, if you're a parent who is sick and likely to pass, this would be a really beautiful gift to give your children before you go. I say that because I lost my mom in 2020 and when I first read this book, i felt like it was her talking to me. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Another one of this series. Another lovely story from this wonderful author. I highly recommend these for any parent looking for a nice bed time book.
