Baja Basics Prickly Pear Seed Oil for Face, Organic Cold-Pressed, 1 oz

I am a return customer of this product. The first time I bought the 1 oz. bottle. I actually tried a different brand after my first bottle but quickly sent that back. This one absorbs into my skin very well, so well it feels like my skin drinks it up. I add just a little bit after washing my face each morning as a moisturizer and let it set for a few minutes before I apply my makeup for the day. This second bottle I recognized a scent that I didn't pick up on with my first bottle. This bottle smells very pleasant. Just a very light hint of prickly pear that I didn't pick up on with my first smaller bottle. It seems to smooth out my fine lines and wrinkles in my face. I can actually feel a slight tingle around my lips like it's plumping them up. Not a feeling that lingers, and not something I was aiming for. I see it as an added perk. :D The ingredients are pure and it does not leave my skin feeling greasy. Highly recommend!

After reading everywhere about the benefits of prickly pear oil, I really wanted to try it. For over a year, I have gone completely natural, using only pure, natural oils for my skin moisturizer. Everything I have used, has been good, but I HAD to hop on this prickly pear train! This oil is soooooooo soft and soothing! I do not have any before or after photos, but I can tell you that my family and friends have recently commented how good (and as one said, "velvety") my facial skin looks. It feels so soft and light going on, and once I apply a touch of powdered blush, and a bit of mascara, the glow and even-tone this oil gives to my skin, I almost look fully made up as if I had used foundation. This has a very light aroma, that reminds me of a sort of cherry-vanilla scent (Think your grandma's old timey Jergens lotion!) however, I only smell the scent at initial application, and then it totally disappears. I SWEAR this oil has made a difference in the fine lines around my eyes and mouth, and it just feels magical and warming as it goes on. I'm a customer for life! **Note** I kept getting infomercials for another brand of natural facial "balm" that was about the size of a half dollar for $180.00...The reviews were insane, and people swore it was worth the price..Because of the main ingredient...PRICKLY PEAR OIL!! That expensive balm had 15 or 20 more other oils in it, yet the whole ad was about the AMAZING benefits of the prickly pear oil...Why spend a fortune on something that only uses PP oil as ONE of the ingredients??? Spend 30 bucks and get this magical stuff that is PURE PP oil through and through! I never want to be without this magic elixir!!!!!

Ok, I usually don't even bother writing reviews...I'm too lazy for all that. BUT... this oil is crazy good. I received it about a week ago, and originally started applying it directly to my face after cleansing. The next morning, I woke up with dry patches around my mouth, and my face felt a bit irritated. Mind you, I have very oily skin. I will add, that I do use topical Azaelic Acid, so I thought maybe the two weren't playing well together. The next night, I decided to mix the Prickly Pear Seed Oil in with my evening moisturizer, and OKAY...game on! The next morning my skin felt so smooth. 3rd day of using this product, and a lady at work complimented me on my complexion. She said I was GLOWING. And I was like..okay..well that's nice. A couple days later..a gal at work said my skin looked AH-mazing. So I started taking note...yeah, my skin does look smoother, glowier, and just radiant. My makeup glides on, and stays put. And this is only after a week. I can't wait to see what happens 30 days from now!! So far so good!! And a little goes along ways... I just add 1-2 drops to my dollop of moisturizer. ALSO - as a side bonus, I donate plasma, and I scar easily. I started putting this on the area where they insert the needle for plasma donation, and it softens the skin so well that it's not turning into a "hard" scar like before.

I have tried so many different facial oils, from black seed oil to pomegranate which was recommended by my enesthitician. My favorites are rose hip seed oil and pomegranate, but this oil blows them both away. This is the one that I've finally seen specific results with! Reduction in fine lines, much smoother, brighter skin. It's hydrating without being greasy. It's a nice, light oil that absorbs quickly. Oddly enough even my pores seem smaller. A little goes a long way. Sometimes I mix it with my rosehip seed oil and sometimes I use alone. It makes my makeup look much smoother, brighter, and more natural. Gives my face a lovely youthful glow. I can't say enough good things about this oil! It's a staple in my cabinet now!

I have troubled skin, have for a long time with the main issues being cystic acne and a reddish splotchy complexion. I've tried a lot over the years to help with it and while some products do better than others I really hadn't found anything that was worth sticking with. After being ad targeted for an insanely over priced bottle of moisturizer containing prickly pear oil I figured why not try something new. The reviews were good enough but rather than spend $160, I settled on this bottle and a decent moisturizer. I'm so happy I bought this stuff, I won't be without it going forward. Overnight I noticed an improvement on my complexion, the usual redness I had was drastically improved and my pores over the past week have become less noticeable. It doesn't really curb my acne but it reduces the appearance and inflammation a lot which is just fine by me. Took a chance on this new sin care fad and for me it paid off, I use it twice a day and it absorbs well and doesn't give my skin too much shine. UPDATE: This stuff still rocks, I'm also an anxious picker and my face suffers a lot from that bad habit. My scabs clear up so much faster now since I've been using this product. Its so good I'd thought I'd add that for others who also tend to mess with their blemishes - had a horrible cystic pimple on my nose and the scab is really clearing up only 3 days later. So so so happy.

I’m a big fan of Baja Basics, and I recently ordered their Prickly Pear Oil—it’s incredible! Lightweight, deeply hydrating, and so versatile, it’s perfect for my skin, hair, and nails. My skin feels soft and glowing, and it absorbs quickly with no greasiness. Plus, a little goes a long way, making the 1 oz bottle a great value. Highly recommend!

This oil is just wonderful! My daughters and I use it to add moisture to dry hair and help to detangle. My oldest daughter has blonde, dry, easily tangled hair. When we try to brush out the tangles, it causes breakage. By applying a drop of this oil directly to the tangle, it comes out more easily. Now, I put a few drops on my fingers at night, spread it over my hands, and use “praying hands” to apply it to her hair and brush it through. She sleeps on a silk pillowcase, and wakes up with very few tangles. Her hair has definitely gotten much healthier since we started using it!

Je connais plusieurs huiles dont huile de ricin, huile de rose musquée, grenade etc ..mais j'ai fait confiance à cette huile comme elle contient plus de vitamine E au monde. Je l'utilise assidûment depuis 1 année et en 3 jours vous pouvez voir la différence ayant une peau déjà raffermie et lisse. Mais jour après jour elle devient éclatante et plus ferme comme une peau de jeune fille alors que je suis très proche de la cinquantaine. Cette petite bouteille est mon trésor au quotidien et je n'utilise rien d'autres sauf l'eau de rose de cette même marque juste avant d'appliquer cette huile. Laissez tomber tous ces produits de grandes marques coûteux avec des fausses promesses et avec aucun résultat. Merci à Baja Basics 💝

I really like this product and it works exactly as expected. The quality is very good, and I was happy with the results after using it. It feels well made, is easy to use, and I would definitely recommend it to others. The only downside is the size of the bottle. It's much smaller than I expected, especially for the price. While the product itself is excellent, I do think it's a bit overpriced considering how little you get. I wish the bottle was larger or the price was a little more reasonable. The face oil itself is very good and absorbs on the skin doesn't give oily texture at all Infact i am using this after 5 mins i give a little massage ...texture of this product is good. Overall, it's a very good product that performs well, and despite the small bottle, I would still recommend it because the quality makes up for it. Just be aware that you may need to repurchase sooner than expected due to the small amount included.

I recently purchased the Baja Basics Organic Prickly Pear Cactus Seed Oil, and I’m over the moon about it! After just one application on my hair, I was blown away by how much softer, shinier, and healthier it looked, with noticeably more volume. Even though it’s a bit pricey, the instant transformation makes it totally worth it, and I can’t wait to see how my hair continues to improve over time. This oil feels like a total game-changer, especially if you’re dealing with hair loss or postpartum hair loss. Although it can also be used on skin and nails, I’ve been focusing on my hair and can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have just recently gotten into the essential oils and natural products for my skin. Over the years I have spent alot of $$$ on skin care in hopes it would help my aging skin. I started reading up on more natural products and I can say that this ine is Amazing. I use this nightly alongside a few other ouls and I have seen results so quickly. My dry skin is not dry anymore. Fine lines and wrinkles are not as noticeable and my skin is just firmer. I have only just started using this for a couple weeks and seeing results already. For centuries our ancestors lived if the land and all the natural products it gives and I now get it. Looking forward to trying and learning about many others. I highly recommend this product. Price is a little higher than others bit it us worth every penny.
