New York Color Sensational Lipcolor, Mauve Mania, 0.15 Ounce

I love this color, its the perfect shade, not sticky and works well with my complextion. im so sad they discontinued it and i have yet to find a suitable replacement :(

I usually do not buy any "Drug Store" cosmetics but I heard good reviews about this and wanted to try. I bought Lust for Blush which is a pinkish nude color and " Cherry on top". "Cherry on top" is bit too bright for my taste, but "Lust for Blush" is so beautiful on my skin. I love the texuture of this lipsticks. Very smooth and not too opaque. Most of all, It is very moisturizing! Because they are very light texture, lasting power is not the best, and you will need to reapply often, but with the price, you wouldnt worry about going through them quickly. Packaging is pretty too. I ended up buying 4 more colors. I prefer the lighter colors in this line ( which is the tyoe of colors I would choose in any brand of lipsticks anyway). I want to add that these lipsticks do not have odd taste or smell which I am very sensitive to. I often forced to throw away lipsticks because of the smell and taste so that is very important. Girls, try this. You would love them!

I bought Color Whisper in "One Size Fits Pearl" This color is such a beautiful, soft light pink. It glides on your lips easily & feels SO silky. It's not waxy AT ALL, like other lip glosses or lipsticks, it's almost feather light & feels like it's moisturizing your lips. It has a slight scent but not strong or unpleasant at all. It makes your lips look really soft & supple with a slight shimmer & buildable color. This is just an all around great & flattering product.. This is the third time I have bought this item & will definitely continue buying it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because I just wish it came with a little more P.S. I wasn't given it for free or paid to write this review or anything, I just really love this

Very pretty sheer lipstick and great for women with cool-toned skin. The color I ordered was Lust for Blush and it's not so much pink but a pink/mocha and the texture is more shiny than glossy which is a nice look for the summer. Application is easy without a mirror and stays on for awhile without reapplying except after drinking/eating. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is that from the photo it appears to be a peachy- pink which was what I was looking for. Still this is a nice light summer lipstick and I'll be wearing it often.

I really like this lipcolor. It goes on so light that it feels more like a moisturizing balm than a lipstick. The color is sheer so it looks more like my natural lip color instead of like I'm wearing lipstick. Also, because it's so sheer, it doesn't obviously "feather" around my lips, something that you have to deal with when you get older. In addition, the sheer nature of this lipcolor lets me apply it without a mirror and not worry that I look like some drunken clown tried to put on my lipstick. And, because it's sheer you can skip the lip liner which means one less step in the morning. On the down side, all these qualities means that the lipcolor lacks staying power and will need to be reapplied frequently. All of this makes it great for a "natural" look however if you want a glam or more sophisticated look you might want to hold on to your lipstick.

Unfortunately, I was clicked to at least press one star. This tube of lipstick is not even worth one star. When trying to open the lipstick to put on, I discovered that it had been taped and glued so many times that there was no way possible that you were going to get into it to even use it. I sat for 45 minutes trying to pick the tape and whatever off so it could be used I never did get it opened up by the time I finished I was so furious. I decided that I did not need it and I probably wouldn’t like it anyway I don’t know if this was a joke or what it was but it wasn’t funny mad hardly describes what I am feeling at this moment.

I'm always in search of a perfect daytime pink-brown lipstick so after researching Color Whisper swatches online I opted to try this color. I'm sorry to report it's not pink-brown but more of a pale cool toned pink. But wait! I still love it, because applied lightly over a brown lipcolor, it's makes the perfect MLBB (my lips but better) color :D Color Whisper lipsticks always feel amazing, they are perfectly smooth, not greasy, not glossy, not sticky. They have a nice wet quality to them that I really like, hard to describe. It's a very moisturizing feeling. They are also quite sheer, some are more buildable than others. Lust-For-Blush is quite buildable!

I have pale skin, medium brown hair, and hazel eyes. I don't wear lipstick often because it is either too pink or too brown and too heavy looking. I love this Color Whisper lipcolor in Made-it-Mauve. It is just the right in-between shade for me, and doesn't go on too heavy. I think it's perfect for a polished "every day" look. I paired this with Maybelline New York Fit Me! Blush in Medium Nude, and ALMAY Intense I-Color Shimmer-I Kit, Brown (both purchased from Amazon). They both also go well with Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil, which has the slightest tint and just gives my lips a healthy look for casual days.

Love the colour and the texture glides on so nicely, it is just a tinting of your lips but it works very well and is very pretty
