Sock Cop Sock Clips Multi-Colors (20 Clips), The Hand-Cuff for Socks

Finally!! Have tried several different brands and styles of sock clips / keepers and all have been a dismal disappointment until Sock Cop. Its small but holds secure so does not deform the top of the sock like many others styles do and they work for every type of sock from thin dress socks to my triple thick winter hiking socks. Cant ask for a better product especially at the price.

When I first bought them and used them first time I thought they were great but I'm discovering that the tabs you pinch to open them (to remove socks) are way too small and fingers tend to slip off and getting them open is hard to do. Five months into use--I still like my old slide-clips that are no where to be found much better.These are NOT for people with normal sized fingers/hands the pincher end is way too small. I have been hurting my fingers trying to get the clips open and they have damaged the top of hubby's socks! DO NOT BUY this junk! We have 10 yr old+ sliding clips I just re-found on Amazon and have ordered--they work for years and NO pain to hands or fingers and no damage to socks! YEA--back to slide clips!! Thought they weren't around anymore!

Purchased for $11.49 with s/h in September 2016. I highly recommend these for infant/baby/toddler socks, maybe not so much for adult socks, as they are often much thicker. Three of these broke on me within a week, and I was super ticked off, but I tried handling them slightly different, according to packaging instructions, and haven't had any break since. (or maybe I just lost all my muscle strength soon after baby was born?) Only cons would be that these usually don't keep thinner dress socks together, both baby and adult sizes.While you could throw baby socks into a mesh bag, then toss the bag into the washer/dryer, you would still have to eventually deal with pairing them up. And I avoid folding/excess sorting whenever possible. I recommend and do the following: In the morning, get out a pair of (already clipped) socks from the dresser, take the Sock Cop off, and just let it hang on the changing table strap during the day. Come bedtime, just unclip the Sock Cop from the strap and bind them to the now dirty socks. Chuck it in the hamper, and you're good! If you want to make a lasting impression at a baby shower, get the 2 Pack Special of these for their gift!

too hard to attach

I'm going to base my review on 4 criteria:Do they hold? Do they damage the sock? Are they easy to put on and off? Are they prone to break?1) Steadfastness: In a load of 60 pair 10 pair came undone. I was hoping for less than half of that. Both thin and thick socks ended up coming off it didn't seem to be related to the sock.2)Damage: In particular to the thicker socks these left a rather conspicuous dent. During agitation it seems the fabric stretched around the contact point. It seems this might be a place where the sock develops a hole. No holes were formed though and stretching the sock around my hand minimized the dent, though it didn't completely disappear.3)Ease of application: They seem to go on easier than off, but yes it is a chore. Though any sock holding system will be.4)Breakage: None broke and they didn't seem like they would. Seems to be a good quality plastic.

I love these. It saves so much time when putting away laundry. I imagine if someone wanted they just leave the clips on and put them in a drawer. I do have pain issues with my hands so these can be hard for me to use some days but most days I'm fine and they work great. They aren't great for anything with a wide weave as they will stretch the material or just come loose.

Love these. Easy to use and durable. Recently moved on lost these so I'm reordering again because I miss then so much. Only thing is I wish they came with little storage container or bag for them. Small and easy to lose. Hold pairs well. I attach at the top of sock where it is a bit thicker and some pairshave little cuff for added security.

Clips do not hold thin socks thru washing and drying process. Difficult to open to hold thick socks. I just threw them away.
