Just the right size
I was looking for a 4 to 5 unit rack that I could move around easily and this one was perfect. Good quality, so it was a very good purchase.

Great Lightweight Rack Case
I recently took on a job working as a sound engineer for a local church in the town that I live in As I was running their mixing desk for their music group, I needed to run an effects rack on the mixing board to process some of the various different vocals and instruments. I have a few sound processers that I needed a rack case that was light, shallow and something to allow me to have the processors all wired up, ready to go. I have a few rack cases here in my house that I use for amplifiers but the cases alone are heavy, and bulky. Yes, they would do the job but I needed something better than what I have currently. I saw this case here on Amazon and figured I give this one a try. Love the fact that it has a zippered pocket to store extra cables if necessary and zipped covers to transport the gear. This case can not weigh more than 5 pounds empty and with the rigid structure and the rack rails, this case is a pretty solid made case. Made my job having the effects processors I use racked up nice and neatly and wired up to allow me to get them connected to the inserts of the mixing board very quickly! Now if the rack case with all the processors was only lighter in weight..... LMAO Weighs in a staggering 36 pounds with all the processors pictured here. (NOT A FLAW OF THIS CASE BY ANY MEANS!) Just me being silly here and having some heavy equipment...lol

TOO WIDE TO MONT FX UNITS.
DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOUR READY TO FIX IT! WTF THE RAILS ARE TOO FAR APART TO MOUNT MY FX UITS. ITS SHOULD MAESURE 18 1/4 INCH ON CENTER AND THIS UNIT COME AT 18 3/4 INCHESAND THE SCREWS WON'T LINE UP. WHAT A LET DOWN! ROCKVILLE YOU HAVE FAILED. AMAZON SELL SO MUCH JUNK THESE DAY I AM ABOUT OUT OF HERE. I HAD TO MODIFY THE RACK TO FIT MY GEAR. HEY JEWFF BEZOS YOU OWE ME AN HOURS LABOR AT $45 PER HOUR.

Tortoise slow shipping but it works as advertised.
As advertised, no problems with alignment of rack screws as some have indicated. I'm using it for a Soundcraft Ui24r digital mixer, and the bag fits that unit and a power conditioner perfectly. Having the front/back zippered flaps laying on the top of the unit will hopefully discourage folks from laying their drinks on top of the unit. There is plenty of room in the back for storage of cables, (Cat 5 in my case), and it has a convenient zipper pouch for other storage. Mine came with a carrying strap as advertised, unlike some of the other reviews I read. The unit is light enough to shoulder carry, but also has convenient hand straps. Whether it holds up to use over time remains to be seen but so far so good! I think I would recommend it if asked.

Absolutely perfect for Wing Rack.
I bought this for use with my Behringer Wing Rack console. I wanted something as small as possible, to facilitate loading my one-man gig PA into a car without needing a trailer. I also wanted one extra rack space for an additional piece of gear. Perfect. The wing rack exactly fits, including the depth.

very poor construction...rails not spaced correctly.
This product is poorly constructed. The rack rails were about 19.5" apart instead of the standard 19". So that meant the holes didnt line up for the rack equipment that I was mounting in it. I had to actually unscrew one side...and put spacers in place to move the rail closer to the other side so I could still use it for my equipment. I have NEVER seen a rack with rails out of alignment like that. Very poor. Surprising from Rockville. I wouldnt buy this.

Beware of Cheap Plastic Parts!
EDIT: I updated my review from 1 to 3 stars. After some hassle, I was sent a complete replacement. I was only asking for and expecting a cover, but they sent me an entirely new unit. Despite the problems and hassles I experienced, I was made whole with a replacement unit. I'd like to give credit where credit is due. ------ The plastic buckles that are used to attach the shoulder strap are made out of very weak plastic. The buckles on both sides immediately broke upon the first use of the shoulder strap. I purchased this Rockville bag because of its lightweight "grab and go" form factor. I play a lot of rooftop bars, which requires climbing flights of stairs. Practicality and low weight are a must. I'm actually glad that the straps broke immediately and not on a gig. I could've been climbing a flight of stairs. Had the strap broke, my $1,600 rig would have tumbled down the stairs. I broke off the broken plastic buckles (which was surprisingly easy to do), and replaced them with two 2" carabiners. Then I replaced the strap itself with a sturdy strap. I purchased the strap and carabiners after the fact on Amazon. If you purchase any Rockville product, just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I was willing to take a chance on this 5U rackcase because I liked the form factor. I'll likely not ever purchase anything from Rockville again given the poor quality of this case. We'll see how long this case lasts. If/when it breaks down, I'll just spend the money on a better case. No more Rockville products for me after this. I learned my lesson.

Nice Compact way To Securely Transport Gear.
We have several big gear rack cases, but I'm getting old and toting all that stuff around is getting old too. I decided to condense things into an easier to pack set-up of only the gear we use at every show.. Wireless Mics, In-Ear Monitor Transmitters and an 18/18 interface. With a power supply, this just fits everything we need. It's real easy to carry and the bag is much sturdier than I expected in this price range . I also like that the rack comes out of the bag if you so desire. In use, I set it on a short folding table, set a mixer on top and we're good to go. I'll probably get a couple more down the road and ditch the big rack cases all together.

Value and quality , not a flight case but good for local use
Great price and rack comes out of bag to desktop in seconds and it came with hardware, but need to get rubber washers to avoid scratching/ metal debris paint scratching ect

Tight fit, but okay
Quality seems decent. Nylon is heavy. Includes extra screws. Two complaints though. There was no obvious water stains on the box, but the screws that were already in the rack had a bit of rust and some of the transferred to inside cover and stained it. The other complaint is that it's super tight. if you use all 5 spaces the last item is a struggle to get in.
