Does why it says. Extra adhesive too.
Good solid wrap.

Good utility, many uses. This is a good size to cut down.
Good adhesive, works very well as you would expect. This is a good size, I prefer this and just cut it down to the size I need as I need it. I dont think it needs to be any thicker.

GREAT PRODUCT
This tape works very well. I use it to position strain gauges for adhesion to a surface. After I remove the tape, it does not leave residue on the strain gauge. I also use this tape to position ARC Chips onto printer ink cartridges. After everything is properly aligned, I lift one side of the tape, which also lifts the ARC Chip, then I remove the plastic film from the self adhesive back of the Chip. I then fold the tape back down and stick the Chip to the ink cartridge. Permanently remove the tape. While the tape does not leave any residue; I still wipe the contacts of the chip with Isopropyl Alcohol (>90 percent). A Perfect alignment every time.

Performing well for 3D print bed
I used this as a backup for the adhesive that came loose on the ceramic fiber heat shield. This worked well to put a layer over the whole bottom of the 400mm X 400mm bed to keep the heat shield in place.

Cheap but effective
Let's just say if you're building a mars rover look elsewhere. If you're taping down leads in consumer electronics this will work fine and is well priced. Reasonable temperature tolerance when using a rework station/heat gun. But don't give this stuff too much abuse.

Quality imitation Kapton adhesive film; exceeds Kapton max temp, less adhesive. Good value.
Not exactly identical to Kapton tape, both in a positive and negative attribute. Pros: - Price for performance is excellent value - Excellent resistance to extreme temperatures. Measured through infrared and direct measurement found that - film deformation began at 673 degrees and at 769 degrees, while the film appeared to burn, it appears that it is the adhesive that carbonized as the film itself exhibited no perforations after being heated to nearly 800 degrees. YMMV, but these are the temps I observed when testing heat resistance - Physical dimensions and thickness is similar if not more robust than Kapton film. - Comes on a rigid plastic spool identical to genuine Kapton, not cheap cardboard or similar cheap material making them tough enough to toss into a electronics tool bag without concern Cons: The only complaint I would bring up is the relatively weak strength of the adhesive compared to brand name Kapton film and several similar products. This is not a deal killer as test adhesive will adequately hold in most applications as long as you clean the surface thoroughly before attempting to apply the film.

Like every other kapton tape out there. high quality
I use Kapton tape for protecting electronic components that I do not want to melt off of the circuit board when using my air desoldering station. This is just sticky enough to stay in place, seems to be the right film thickness (1 mil) and cuts like the mil-quality stuff. I have also used Kapton for a protective layer over loose radioactive materials when doing gamma ray spectroscopy. I had found that the old way of using scotch style tape would break down over a few years due to the constant radiation exposure. Kapton tape was intended for use on satellites and spacecraft so it is resistant to that type of deterioration. It blocks alpha particles but beta particles and gamma rays are barely attenuated.

Good quality and exactly as described
I am using this for a hobby application where I am trying to prevent electrical parts from touching each other and prevent shorts. This tape is very thin (just as described), but still seems to be very durable. It can be a little hard to use, at least in my application and with older and clumsier fingers, but once I get it into place it does the job. Getting multiple widths is also a great plus!
