French Dark Roast Coffee Pods 100 CT (Previously Happy Belly)

These are a good alternative to the much higher priced premium brands, and also tastes good. I'm not a coffee snob, but these provide a very drinkable cup of coffee and energy boost to get my day going. Good value for the price!

I've bought this coffee in the past quite a while ago and wasn't really wowed. But tastes like the roast has been re-tweaked now to something much better. Tasted slightly weak in the past, but good and bold now 👍☕️

I understand coffee taste and preferences vary. Keep in mind coffee pods will always deliver a weaker taste compared to freshly brewed coffee, particularly using whole beans you grind just before brewing (So, please be fair in your assessment and comparison). I have used those pods before and find the taste to be very good. Bought due to a lower listed price and they are compatible with my Keurig machine. Not much more to say. Recommend. Thank you.

I’ve been using the Amazon Brand Happy Belly Dark Roast pods as my daily driver for a few weeks, and they’ve become my go‑to for a couple simple reasons: I can get two solid 12 oz cups out of one pod without the second one tasting watery, and my parents (who drink exclusive Starbies K-cups and don’t like other brands, like this brand!)How I use them• Brew setting: 12 oz• First cup: with cream• Second cup: blackThe dark roast has a smooth, chocolatey base with a light smoky/roasty edge. At 12 oz it’s still bold enough that adding cream doesn’t turn it into “coffee milk.” It’s a classic dark‑roast profile: low acidity, full body, and easy to drink first thing in the morning.Second cup (black)This is where these pods really stand out. The second pass is not weak – it’s still a legitimate dark coffee. The flavor shifts a bit more toward mellow cocoa and toast, with less of the initial roast punch, but it’s absolutely fine to drink black. No sourness, no burnt taste, just a smooth, steady cup.Pros•Strong enough to brew twice on 12 oz and still taste like real coffee•Great value per cup, especially if you double up like I do•Smooth, bold dark roast that works well with cream or black•Low acidity, easy on the stomach (unlike the Colombian)•100‑count box lasts a while and is easy to restock on AmazonCons•Not a “specialty” coffee – it’s a straightforward, mass‑market dark roast•Very dark‑roast forward; if you like bright or fruity notes, this isn’t that•No roast date on the box, so freshness depends on Amazon’s turnoverBottom lineWhy I gave it 4 stars - honestly, if you’re willing to try something more economical this is a good option. If you drink back to back cups like I do, it’s a good idea. I gave it 4 stars because the smaller 6/8/10 didn’t seem much stronger. Not that might be a machine issue and not product issue.

I’ve ordered this coffee three times now with 100 k cups in the box at about $31. It is a good value and the taste is rich, deep and not bitter. It is smooth. I only drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day and this satisfies my coffee desire.

I’m very pleased with the flavor and intensity of this coffee. I like a robust blend and it delivers just that. Very good buy for the money.

Maybe its just me or I just bought the wrong kind. This one had a bitter after taste. I had to give them to someone else.

Amazing price and quality. I like my coffee on strong side and the cut with cream. Some might call it a latte! Except mine is about 25 cents with cream added. I only tried it because Amazon could deliver it same day and was out of coffeeThey came fresh and brew great in K cup machine. To good to be true?
