Very easy to cut and apply. It seems quite strong, and able to hold quite a variety of outdoor items in place. Be aware that the adhesion tends to be lacking on rough surfaces, like cement. I tried to attach plastic stair lights to my cement steps, and that was not possible. They stuck to the painted stairs just fine.

This is great for outside use. Heat and cold do not effect the glue on the strips

Amazing stuff word to the wise Push prep the surface even sand it a bit than I use the hook side on the structure or "thing" looks cleaner and the loops won't get exposed to the elements. After prepping the surface apply as hard as you can for as long as you are vibin it. LET IT "CURE" the box said 15 minutes I ignored it and all my stuff fell off first big wind storm. After applying let it sit for an hour or as long as you can hold off.

I used this to make winter covers for my crawl space access vents. The only drawback is that unlike other Velcro and Velcro type products, the protective plastic over the adhesive is almost impossible to remove. Other products like this have the plastic wider than what it covers so it is really easy to remove. This product has the plastic the exact same width as the adhesive, so you almost have to fight with it to get it off. Tip, bend the corners of the pieces back and forth to loosen the adhesive, and use fine tipped tweezers to pull it off at the loosened corner.

Extremely well made, works very good

This was used to hold and outdoor rug in place in a medium traffic area and held up for a couple of weeks with no water exposure. It was attached to a large plastic sheet that was clean and smooth. I'm sure in other use cases it might prove to be better but in this case it did not hold up.

I've been fighting w curtain rods since I moved to this apt; every window is a different size, plus the kind of paint used has a shiny slippery finish plus (& you may be shocked with this) I'm on 1st fl so when cars go back to park my window panes tend to slip slowly during the winter...honestly I do not know how I came up with using VELCRO, but I did. I purchased 2 rolls of Extreme Outdoor, because it was thicker & firmer in hold power. The soft side was stuck on curtains, the rough side was placed on window frame and voila, I stuck up 3 sets of heavy (under 10lbs per panel) of curtains in bedroom windows. You have NO idea of the snugness, the warmth kept in...No expensive rods that eventually slip and fall. This is ingenious!!! VELCRO take note, your Extreme Outside tape is invaluable for inside jobs as well. I'm 64 yrs old, so there's lots of Hope for you younger DIYers!!

Excellent product which really works.

Wanted a way to attach a DIY knife block to a wavy backsplash tile without drilling holes into the tile. So far holding well and the Velcro was able to easily account for the variation in the tile. Final thickness of the Velcro is small so not apparent if offset from the edge by 1/8 inch. Figured Velcro will be easier to remove and gave more leway for the tile variation that double sided tape

Queria colocar una trampa de sonido de 1m x 1.2m en una pared de panel de yeso y no queria perforarla, estuve buscando y decidi probar este velcro, funciono muy bien, el que venga en rollo permite cortar las piezas requeridas al tamaño y su agarre es muy fuerte, la trampa debe pesar mas de 6 kilos y no se ha caido en poco mas de un año

I have a metal tool box in my trunk which was sliding around even with minor turns. I cut a couple of strips of this and put it on the bottom of the toolbox. Now it doesnt budge. It grabs a little when lifting it out, but I don't do that that often. I usually just leave it in there while I work and grab what I need, so I can't quite speak for the wear or lifespan. This is advedtised as holding up to 15lbs but my tool box is probably 25-30 lbs.
