Solid, metal, heavy, works as advertised with a good long flex. Two light settings, bright and dim - we don't really need bright at night so use the dim setting which prolongs the battery life. No complaints at all, delighted. EDIT: Just over two years later I noticed they'd stopped working and suspected the rechargable batteries had failed or leaked. Opening the solar panel I found that the batteries were fine, but there was water in the unit (We've had some torrential rain recently) and the control panel was corroded. Sadly the only way to replace the panel economically was to buy an entirely new set - there appear to be several identical models on Amazon - and to swap out the panel while leaving the old lights in position. This time I will be sure to mount it so water ingress is less likely... I might even add a silicone sealant. My original review still stands - it's a good bit of kit. I note you can also get warm white lights instead of cold white - I might have gone for those, but cold white is better for lighting up a sign, I think...

These lights and the solar panel are brilliant and very easy to install. Bearing in mind that these were recently purchased and that it is still Winter, the brightness and length of illumination is really good. My only criticism is the length of cable from the lamps to the solar panel - 3 metres isn't much if you need to place the panel in a prominent position to catch sunlight whilst the lamps are under a bush or a tree.

Very impressed with these lights, they’re not very big but they are very bright! There are 2 settings- the brightest is unexpectedly bright. The lower setting lights up the area great. Very small downside is the lead/cable doesn’t allow for you to have the lights set too far apart.

Really refreshing to come across some lights that are quality. So far, still working perfectly after 3 months. Don’t seem to need any sunlight to charge. Added to all that, extremely good value. Thank you.

The photos of these lights (6) on my tall brick garden wall are beautiful- but I won’t let Amazon access my photos - just to include in this review. Pity. About to order two more. Well made. Sturdy. Lovely bright white light. Excellent.

I bought this based in the excellent reviews left by other Amazon user's. I had looked to buy them earlier in the year but the seller wasn't able to restock till June - when I'd relooked the replenishment date had changed and after placing my order I was guaranteed next day delivery!. I got the lights for my front garden. The streetlights are alot darker and without a light outside it is pitch black during the early hours and I've always preferred a light on for extra security. I've struggled to get a light that doesn't need to be fixed (wired). Assembly is easy and the lights worked the very same night with hardly any charge.The lights will come on automatically when it is dark and turn off automatically when it is dusk. For a solar light it is absolutely amazing how bright these lights are, youd think they were wired to the house electrics. It will be interesting to see how well they light during the darker times of the year. I did think the item.was rather expensive for what it is but on using it for what you ge, as long as it lasts, it's quite remarkable!. 🌟🌟 🌟🌟 🌟

Worth ever penny - the light from these is incredible, way better than I thought! Good sized solar panel that captures the sunlight, and sturdy lamps that seem indestructible. Plenty of cable so you can spread these lights to get the best effect - I’ll definitely be getting some more of these

They are bright for about an hour then after that a candle is brighter. It’s winter now so I know the sun is limited but I have some other solar lights and they are brighter for longer. Considering the price which wasn’t cheap I did expect better. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t be buying more.

Grundsätzlich tut die Leuchte, (jetzt) was sie soll, aber der Weg dahin war kompliziert, da es auf der Rückseite nur einen Knopf gibt mit verschiedenen Einstellungen (mehrfaches Drücken notwendig um diese anzusteuern). Leider gibt es keine Kennzeichnung der Einstellungen. Die Lampe soll kurz aufblinken, wenn man den richtigen hat, was aber schwer erkennbar für mich war. Also wusste ich nicht ob ich gerade ausgeschaltet hatte, Stufe 1 oder Stufe 2 angesteuert hatte. Die Leuchte läd aber nur im angeschalteten Zustand. Ich brauchte daher mehrere Versuche (und Tage - try and errow) um den Ladevorgang zu starten. Die Beschreibung mit wenigen zeilen fand ich sehr dürftig. Irgendwann gings. Dann leuchte die Leuchte plötzlich nicht mehr nachdem ich die Erdspieße versetzt hatte. Ein Kabel hatte sich gelöst, so dass beide Leuchten nicht gingen. In der Anleitung wäre die Angabe möglicher Fehlerursachen hilfreich gewesen. Habe es selbst ausgetürftelt. Da die Lampen noch recht neu sind kann ich zur Nutzungsdauer und Haltbarkeit noch nichts sagen. Positiv finde ich, dass ich für das Ladepanel nur einen halbschattigen Ort zur Verfügung habe und trotzdem recht ordentlich geladen wird, wie es scheint. Persönliche Geschmackssache ist, dass ich beim nächsten Mal eher ein warmweißes Licht wählen würde. Ich hatte Sorge, dass die Leuchtkraft nicht ausreicht. Da ich aber nur ein kleiches Beet habe und die Leuchten direkt am Fuße der anzustrahlenden Statue stehen reicht die Leuchtkraft aber aus.
