It's very good well worth the money. It's plugged into the main light in my main room and I intend to keep it there. It colours the whole room when I want it to. The remote control is easy enough to use. You can't go wrong with it.

Time will tell how long this lasts but it's by far the best coloured bulb I've tried. Very bright, colours are nice, remote comes with a battery. Does get warm at the base but the bulb itself is barely warm to the touch. Only annoying thing so far is the dimming levels, there's only 3 and the change between each level is quite dramatic. Wish there was a coloured strobe mode too like other ones but these are just nitpicks. It's very easy to use and works well for what it's advertised as. Absolute bargain and will buy again for other rooms.

Great light from it. good features.

I have bought many similar colour changing LED bulbs before. They have always been a bit of a disappointment, either not having much in the way of colour options, or being really dim, or both. They have suited the situation for which I needed them, but only just ! This bulb is a far better item. It is a 12 watt unit, making it far brighter than the usual 5, 6 or 7 watt versions out there. Beyond that, it has a much bigger choice of lighting options, with some really clever "fade-in fade-out" variants, and a pretty good range of subtle colours. The remote control has a lot more in the way of lighting choices than previous units, it is very responsive, and works well from a good distance. So far so good , I am very pleased with this unit. How long it lasts remains to be seen , but I am hopeful that it will be useful for a long time.

It's excellent, so much more convenient to use than an alternative app-enabled smart bulb I tried. You just press a button or two, and it works. No need to unlock your phone, log into an app, wait for it to load, and then fiddle around with controls (though I know there are other, more convenient ways to use smart bulbs). The white light is warm (which is my preference, at least for the bedroom), and it has some really nice automatic smooth colour cycle modes. There's also a mode where it flicks through colours in sequence, which you can adjust the speed of. Generally, I have this bulb on max warm white brightness during the evening (sometimes a bit dimmed, depending on what I'm doing and any other ambient lighting. The warm white has four brightness levels, by the way), and then switch to dim orange or red when it's time to go to bed, and set it to switch off after an hour. Things to note: • There's one intense warm white rapid flashing mode which is a bit baffling that it's included. Be careful of that. • I also wish the brightest warm white settings were a bit brighter. • It would also be nice if the dimmest modes were a little dimmer, for the last thing at night. • It's a shame you can't adjust the speed of the smooth colour cycle modes. Despite those points, still highly recommended. I compared a lot of bulb specs before choosing this one.

I have used this for years! It was durable all the time. Even the remote control is easy to use and its battery lasts for a long time. I don't really need wifi or bluetooth connectivity for my led lights, so it was just fine for me. Good value for money and good choice of colours, as well as 3 strength levels for each colour.

Well Worth the money.

After week one: The remote control works well and isn't blocked by the light-shade. The light is decently bright enough for the small-medium room it is in. I'd say the 85w equivalent rating is about right. The are also some novelty settings to change the colour, cycle through colors or strobe. For standard white light output there are 3 brightness levels, I think there should have been a couple more since there is a large brightness gap between the dimmest level and the medium brightness level which is closer to the brightest level. Happy with purchase and would buy again. I'll update the review if the bulb fails in any way over the next year or so.
